Magic Mikey
No need to panic. There has been 4 odds on favourites already. 8/11 suggests to me someone has heard he's been interviewed and stuck a bit of cash on it. Don't think the club have even finished interviewing/considering candidates. If he's been interviewed then he's being seriously considered. I am aghast. Twisbrogan
If it's part of a set up with Carragher, I'd be fine with it. Decent coach.

4froale
I wouldn't read into it to much, I could stick a tenner on tony Blair to be the next manager and he would probably be odds on Edited February 7, 2013 by 4froale

Lookers_Carl
Whilst I would give the guy a chance, there are a lot of managers I would rather have over him, Brown being one of them
wardlelatic
What would Sammy Lee bring to the club right now ?? Answers on a stamp !!

adamoafc
Sammy Lee takes over we might aswell just have stuck with dickov. Sounds a very cheap appointment if true. If Corney,Joy or any other board members read this........DONT BOTHER!
footy68
if it is Lee I for one will not pay to watch another game while he's in charge.
Twisbrogan
if it is Lee I for one will not pay to watch another game while he's in charge. Why? What would happen if we won 5 on the bounce? Would you still not bother?
disjointed
If it's Sammy Lee we are down. How? There are 16 frigging games left, if it is Lee, give him a chance , after all this season has been woeful (cup run excepted). He would not be my choice but i believe he should be given a fair crack of the whip.
Traffordtic
I'd rather have Brenda :censored:in Lee!!

mikeleylandoafc
Maybe Lee's going to be Dowie's No2. Could know each other both having links in the bolton area. Just a theory.

Bunny's Boots
Lee's odds have stuck at 8/11 after dropping rapidly in a 10 minute spell. Could be that a couple of big bets were made on the back of a chinese whisper. Skybet would have pulled the betting if it was nailed on. KTF

longtimeblue
If this has been created by a few people sticking a couple of quid on in close succession it's genius. Certainly if a fair few were in on it it might work. Hoping it's a beaut of a wind up as the alternative is grim.
wogghead1
he's :censored:e. we won't win 5 on the bounce with him in charge. We wouldn't win 5 on the bounce with mourinho in charge so whoever we eventually get, give them a chance.
wardlelatic
Sammy lee hasn't got the experience we need to get out of a relegation battle and how many would he put on the gate ? Dowie on the other hand ! Experience from palace and Hull and IMO would add hundreds to the gates for the rest of the season
oldhamains
Let's be honest none of us have a :censored:ing clue how he's going to do! Could of had a great interview! Imagine if Ronnie Moore didn't go back to trfc and he was announced as the new manager here! You'd all be moaning and saying he's :censored: but look how he's done at trfc. What I'm saying is no one knows! How many wanted Joe back?
deyres42
Dowie probably got a few Scouse lads to lump on Sammy Lee so it would push his own price out ha
