In all seriousness we are talking about a guy who's been highly rated enough to work for Liverpool and England for many years in addition to his first no1 role being in the Premier League.

He is acknowledged as being a top coach and working where he has previously will get him instant respect from the players, plus he'll be bringing an excellent contact book.

He'll be chomping at the bit to prove himself good enough to be a number 1, ok a bit more experience might be preferable but reckon we could do a lot worse than the little fella.

This is from wiki, sounds very familiar ..................."Allardyce left Bolton in April 2007 and Lee was confirmed as his replacement shortly afterwards.[5][6] After only winning one league game from eleven matches, he was sacked in October 2007, becoming the second Premier League manager to be sacked in that season.[5] He was known for regularly citing the 'positives' in post-match interviews despite numerous defeats"

Sounds like a PD clone.

Crikey drive between Sheffield and Oldham and the World is at an end. The betting is bollocks. Its not even a couple of hundred bets. It was 47 the other night put bet on Shergar and it would be listed. Someone slaps £20 on and the odds tumble. Only winner are the bookies.

If its Lee ... "I'm out" but dont think it could possibly be. Makes Wadsworth preferable.

I put a tenner on Paul Ince earlier - he was 50/1, immediately dropped to 33/1.

However for Sammy to have gone odds on, he must have attracted hundreds of pounds, no?

With a Tenner you took Ince down by a third... so simply - no! Probably 5 or 6 bets.

I've said it about 5 times now - odds mean :censored: all in this case!

THIS is Mr S Lee's entire history as Coach/Manager/Assistant Manager/Caretaker Manager:

http://www.leaguemanagers.com/managers/history-1608.html

His longest spell being between April 2007 & October 2007 - Half of which was during the close season!!! Very strange suggestion that he could turn things around.

Corney's found a novel way of sifting through the 75 applications.

He's playing 'Guess Who' with Ian Hill as we speak to determine the new guy…...

"Is he a :censored: Yorkshire Bastard?

Does he like trips to the dogs?

Has he been a foe of Doctor Who?

Did he go hard or go home?

Was he attacked by Iraqi Voters?

Did he give a monkeys?

When pleaded with, did he go?

Is an anagram of his name Colin :censored:?"
