LaticsPete
Bars not open. http://www.oldhamath...nks-657242.aspx At least at half time...but if the new equipment isn't ready by then presumably it won't be before the match either. youngen
So the game when the stand will sell the most pints, they decide to change the catering equipment? The planner needs sacking.
Lukers1
They should buy 1000 cans of carling, pre pour them into plastic cups and charge 2.50 a beer.
24hoursfromtulsehill
Such a shame. Not boozing at half time or during the game is rubbish.

razza699
Only Latics could plan to do maintenance to the boozer on one of the busiest days for the stand! Its like closing a motroway at rushour when you could close it on a sunday Edited February 14, 2013 by razza699

Don't blame them.

Zorrro
Such a shame. Not boozing at half time or during the game is rubbish. Not a problem for us, fortunately.
opinions4u
Sounds like the police said "don't sell booze" and Latics said "find a different reason to tell the fans".
razza699
Sounds like the police said "don't sell booze" and Latics said "find a different reason to tell the fans". Which for me makes us look more daft. If they made a statement saying they arent selling beer and the reason behind it then it would look alot more professional. I agree, Just saying on police advice is quite common in places where they shut pubs etc.for matches. This way it makes us look a bit daft, and I can;t think of a reason for us to do that. davegtt
Being 6pm KO I can understand why its been done, already going to get alot of rowdy lads coming in who wont even remember the game the next day I bet... That said theres nothing like an Irish Whiskey during the game - hipflasks at the ready ;)
Lukers1
Bit ironic that the game is sponsored by Budweiser..
