ShakerT
Hi Best one gets their name in Four Four Two! FourFourTwo magazine here. Hope you are well. Much like last year, we’d love it if you could represent your club for our annual Football League Awards, where we name the 50 best players outside the Premier League. It’s a straightforward question: who do you consider to be the BEST THREE PLAYERS IN YOUR CLUB’S DIVISION? (not including those who represent your own team). There are just a few things to bear in mind: You should base this mainly on performances this season, although overall class should be taken into account. Players who were transferred outside the Football League over Christmas are NOT eligible (such as Jack Butland who has joined Stoke). Loan signings do count, but only if they have been loaned from another Football League club. Please don’t base your votes purely on matches you’ve been to, but take into consideration games you may have seen on TV. We want you to be the voice of your club, so if you are able to open up the debate with fellow fans, that can only help. Would that be OK? If so, simply place your names below and reply. The deadline for this is this Sunday, March 3, so you have a bit of time to mull it over. Edited February 27, 2013 by Stevie_J
laticdickovarmy
Difficult as players I have seen on there day were very good but maybe not in top 3 Forrester at Brentford seen a few times and looked a class act Lad who played middle of the park v us for Tranmere ran the show (not sure think was Wallace) dont know if he has been that good all season but he skippered them Leon Clarke carried Scunny start of the season and has a shed load since gone to Coventry That aside could have choosen 8 Swidnon players they were that good when played against us, Madden at Yeovil must be worth a mention and Grigg was good the other week at Walsall. Not as easy as thought when thinking about it Edited February 27, 2013 by laticdickovarmy

Gaz_Oafc
Thought Liam Walker stood out by a mile for Portsmouth last week! They didn't really threaten during the game but we couldn't get the ball off him. Wiki says he's a Gibraltar international and has scored 5 in 10 at international level. Stevie_J
I may get crucified for saying this but Jose Baxter is not one of the three best players in League One.

HarryBosch
I may get crucified for saying this but Jose Baxter is not one of the three best players in League One. He's one of the most talented but, I agree, he hasn't produced as much as others. He will be next season though if he's still here.
laticdickovarmy
I actually agree with the Baxter comments its just that he is leaps and bounds above most which we have
rudemedic
Jonathon Douglas (Brentford) Leon Clarke (Scunny/ Coventry) Paddy Madden (Yeovil) Douglas really impressed me at Boundary Park and from what I've seen of him at other times, mainly their games against Chelsea. Leon Clarke has been very very good in this division this season, to be fair he's done the same in other seasons too. To be second top scorer in the division despite missing August and December due to loan rules is an impressive feat. To enhance that he has played most of his games at one of the clubs who are really struggling. Paddy Madden, not actually seen him play but he is not top scorer in the division for nothing. singe
Baxter may or may not be, but it is invalid as it asks you to not name anyone from your own side.

pukka
1. Matt Ritchie (Bournemouth), puts a great cross in and a goal threat. 2. Harry McGuire (Sheffield United), looks a good prospect. Good in the air and a goal threat from defence. 3. Paddy Madden (Yeovil), Everyone needs a goalscorer. NewBlue
Paddy Madden? He scored 2 in 32 for Carlisle and has just gone on a great run. If he's the best this league has then we should be dominating it!
bluehobbit
the fella who scored against us for Tranmere McGurik or something? he looked a really good player better than most at this level. Clarke is constantly around the top scorers in this league no else stands out at the minute but im not the greatest at remembering oppo players

Madden (Yeovil) for obvious reasons. Baxter is one for the future but is not playing where he should be for me (bit too deep)!

Boys in Blue
Matt Richie Paddy Madden Steven Schumacher- I know he plays for Bury but I've got a respect for any player who scores so many from midfield and captains a side going through so much trouble. Boys in Blue
I know he's hardly world class and takes pens but 10goals from midfield is close to the number scored by Croft, Wes, Furman & Montano combined. He's not that bad either!
