Cool. Sorry about this, but I'd also like to challenge Michael Adebowale, is he really a celeb?

Interesting question, I think he is a celeb (I didn't have to go who, unlike some of FMS's choices, but I recognise they all qualify) but perhaps some guidance is required. Especially as Huntley is allowed (same sort of category). Edited by rudemedic

It would certainly liven up I'm a Celebrity if they allowed recently released notorious killers into the jungle.

I must admit, a few of mine are faded stars. Perhaps we could add a new rule such as entrants need to have at least three paragraphs about them on Wikipedia or something?

I don't mind changing but in that case it's only fair if Scratch changes Ian Brady. I'll be guided by consensus...

No, it's fine - I just wanted to see what others thought, I think we agree that Brady/Huntley etc would only be in the same bracket, so Adebowale fits the bill. He stays in JSS.

Well at least that will perk up what's probably been a bad day for him.

For me it is a person whose death is reported on the news/papers/website, a person who is known to the population at large be they sport, news, interest, celeb, politician, criminal or royal.

I was going to go for both but figured it's unlikely they'll both go and you've got to at least aim for a full house.

You know, I'm starting to think picking high profile criminals isn't the way forward any more. It's not like the halcyon days of Fred West, Jefferey Dahmer and Harold Shipman what with this around the clock monitoring and being locked up in a cell with a concrete bed and no sheets to top themselves with. The governments are really throttling the fun out of these games these days.

I did think similarly, however given how raw it still is I'm banking on the blind eye being turned for twenty minutes at some point. If he makes it to 2015 I doubt he'll be on the list.

Killing either one of them gives them the martyrdom that they want, hopefully the lags inside will appreciate the geopolitical nuances and keep them alive so that they feel the full weight of the law as opposed to becoming a poster boy for the jihadist cause.
