Player share fundraising idea

Just wondering if this is possible

Match day programmes to be up loaded onto a site or emailed to subscribers. For a £1 or 2, for fans that live or work overseas?

Not sure how many takers but the chron do it for the paper every day.

Just an idea and could make some additional revenue to the scheme

Good idea in principle but the program is a club production and money would go to the club direct.

On a side note i'm thinking of a world cup sweepstake to raise money. Would there be any takers and any ideas on the best format?

Good idea, and good luck with it. I seem to remember Laticdickovarmy trying the same thing with a golf major last year, and there were only about 5 who were interested. I'd be up for it if we can get enough.

Can you do one for the Grand National ?

40 horses in the race, say £5 per number (maximum 2 numbers per person)

You allocate a number at random 1-40

The number will represent the horse on the final race card

The closing date would be midnight Wednesday April 2nd

Half the money (£100) to playershare, the other half in prizes

Ist £50

2nd £25

3rd £15

4th £10

Does that seem feasible ?

That seems more attractive than the 'World Cup Rip-Off' sorry sweep! Make it £10 a go and double the monies!

Just because this seemed a good place to put this, those involved with Playershare etc. may want to have a look at this: http://www.wrexhamafc.co.uk/news/article/snowdon-2014-announcement-14.02.14-1359000.aspx seems a good thing to get involved with.

Are you trying to kill me????. Listen I just about limped home after the Sheff untited back to bp night walk and a couple of seasons ago and a season after, it took me 10 hours to get off Ben Nevis.....never wanna see a mountain peak again....
