4 being bought tomorrow, travelling up from Plymouth. Don't get too many due to distance cost etc... Last one was Swindon away. Not going to miss this one. Hopefully we can give another good display but I am expecting a really good game against 2 in form teams.

Have spoken to a Bristol fan and he reckons they should have lost against Bradford and looking at the stats against Barnsley we have nothing to fear.

Hopefully we can take 500+ fans and have a great away day.

Anyone else feel that this season is similar to the Dowie Play-off season?

Feel we have got the best team we have had in a decade, and it seems to coincide with one of the stronger League One line-ups? Bristol, Preston, Peterborough, Sheffield United - some big budgets out there.

Gutted I cannot go - had the whole weekend planned out and then a friend decides to organise a last minute wedding....

In some ways I hope not lol IIRC we were still unbeaten away from home in March of that season ( 1 of only 2 or 3 teams in the whole of europe) until we went to Ashton Gate for a midweek game .. We got beat 3 nil if memory serves me right ... would be nice to return the favour tho!

Post appendectomy morphine had me enjoying a Champions League win!

I came out of theatre on saturday was returned to the ward at about 3.30pm. Even though I was out of it I got the mrs to read me Matt Chapmans twitter commentary of the game. I remember her getting to half time and then I fell back asleep

Why is it all ticket for away fans and why do some clubs do this?

I sometimes I decide to go late in the week or even on the morning of the game.

It's a big enough ground and it's not as if there will be limited space....can someone explain the reasoning behind it.

What about the neutrals who just want to watch a game...also won't it increase the chances of Latics fans ending up in with City fans?

It may have something to do with their redevelopment of the ground by making the away fans all ticket it will give the club a figure of how many away fans are attending the game thus giving the home fans section a bigger or smaller amount of tickets for themselves.

By doing this i am guessing it prevents problems at the turnstiles on the day.
