Omar Don't Scare
Not sure which of the three threads to reply on?? I'm happy with all 3 signings so far, all fall into the 'could be worse' bracket. Edited June 23, 2015 by Omar Don't Scare

deyres42
please happy with a striker that didn't score in 20 League 2 appearances in a promotion winning team,........... Doubt anyone would mind much if the end result was the same with us...
the_mighty_bosh
Happy enough with this and I agree with Kelly about him offering something different. Forte, Poleon, Turner and Murphy are all strikers with pace or play on the shoulder of the last man. Philliskirk drops deep and is almost an attacking midfielder. I doubt Cassidy will get more than double figures this season but I think he could be a good physical foil for the rest of the strikers similar to Jabo. Worth the gamble and he has room to improve at his age.
singe
5 goals in 74 games for striker. Hope are high, expectation is low. That said, he had an injury lay off after his good season. Lets hope he is the type to drag others out of position, leaving gaps. After poor returns at Notts Co and Southend, it's clear he needs more than a change of clubs. yarddog73
Really happy with this one could be what we have been missing, a player who kept Doyle and Griffiths out of a decent Wolves team will do for me, I'm sure he will be looking to add more goals to his game I hope we bring out the best in him. singe
His girlfriend plays for Notts County Ladies by the way. And the ugly stick missed her by a mile. Her brther simon Walton moved from Stevenage to Crawley. Edited June 23, 2015 by singe
Stevie_J
He's a striker who doesn't score goals. Hes not that different to most Latics strikers.

palmer1
please happy with a striker that didn't score in 20 League 2 appearances in a promotion winning team,...........Fair play to you.... It must be difficult being negative about everything to do with the club from top to bottom but you manage it. HarryBosch
I'd have been buzzing had we signed him before he scored none in 16 for Southend. I hope we 're still after a first choice number
HarryBosch
Also, did some of you decide a while back to be disproportionately excited with every signing this summer regardless of who it is?
nesbitt1988
think its time the likes of poleon and turner got a shot at being the number 9 now rather than going for another. got loads of strikers now.
oafcmetty
Just need to sign Max Power now to get the ball to him.
aaronoafc
Not a chance we'll bring in any more forwards now. We have Poleon Murphy Turner Forte Philly and Cassidy who can lead the line, yes I know a couple can (and probably will) play other positions but that's plenty he won't use the budget on a 7th potential striker (not even counting Bove). Atleast 2 centre halves to come in now, can see an Anthony Gerrard type and someone on loan from a prem side, probably a younger lad. Maybe even 3 centre halves to be honest. Oh and a replacement for Kelly probably too...
