sjk2008
Not sure whether this has been mentioned anywhere already but at the Rochdale Fans' Forum yesterday, they were told that Latics' allocation would be bigger this season, quite possibly another one of their stands (as I cannot see us sharing a stand with them). Could be looking at around 5k of their ground....
NewBlue
I don't think we'd be able to sell that out unless we were in the top few positions. Wish that ticket money was going to Oldham rather than Rochdale. Can't actually see what other stand they could give us because Dale had their biggest league crowd in years for that game and wouldn't be able to fit in just two stands

jsslatic
5% of revenue for away tickets sold in advance go to the away club. Edited August 7, 2015 by jsslatic
longtimeblue
Doubt we'd sell 3,000 unless we're top half and pushing for the top 6. Novelty will definitely wear off the more we play them.
al_bro
If it's all ticket with allocated seats, then I think they are allowed to fill the stand. Whereas last season the seats were not allocated and therefore they had to leave a % of the seats empty. Perhaps that is their idea of an increased allocation. Monty Burns
I would say al bro has nailed it there. Altho Im sure they very very ocassionally give half that seated bit behind the net.

NewBlue
Apparently there was over 100 Dale fans locked out of Bloomfield Road on Saturday because, despite there being only 6000 home fans in a 17,000 seater stadium, they didn't open up any more of the ground for Dale, having only allocated them 1000 tickets. It'll be mayhem for the Boxing Day game if that is their season-long policy, and there won't be anything to do in Blackpool either!

You dont have to sit where they tell you, you know, never in a million years will blackpool put 16000 bums on seats for Oldham at home, they'll be plenty of Oldham fans finding alternate seating arrangements

NewBlue
We won't take many on Boxing Day, will we? It'd be disappointing not to take 1500 minimum. If we're doing okay then you'd be hoping for more like 2000 The Big One wasn't open last time I went to the Pleasure Beach. Robbed.
HarryBosch
The last Boxing Day away was Sheff Utd - anyone know how many we took?

NewBlue
The last Boxing Day away was Sheff Utd - anyone know how many we took? 1088. One game after losing 2-0 at home to Colchester, and we were looking over our shoulders more than up the table I think.
UpTheLatics
237 to Oldham in August from Fleetwood is shocking. In fairness, they've spent their entire history until 2012 playing in the non-leagues.
Simpo
Reckon there's a case to boycott the Blackpool game, with regards to the damage Blackpool fans reckon the Oystons are doing to the club at the moment? Or not bothered.
