Fruitygoo
where does Higdon fit into this????? Higdon barely fits into his shorts never mind the team. We dont play a style that suits, that doesnt mean he has no quality....
NewBlue
Danny Philliskirk will never leave this club. I have that on good authority.

DTM
Higdon barely fits into his shorts never mind the team. We dont play a style that suits, that doesnt mean he has no quality.... I thought Higdon looked much fitter on Tuesday night than he has previously. Didn't have much of a game and was easily bullied by Mansfield's centre halves, but still.. NewBlue
Imagine a Danny philliskirk testimonial... Saying that, I'd love to have a career-serving player from the area. He must be over 100 Latics appearances and that doesn't happen that often anymore...

JoeP
Who was our last testimonial for? Palmer? Think we had one for Andy Barlow in about '95. Beat Everton 2-1.

SavageTheBeast
Eyres? Eyres was a benefit game the last official one was Richard Graham I think
rudemedic
Just spotted that we've only won when he has scored this season. It's probably not even a correlation, nevermind a causation but don't think we've gone this far into a season where one player has scored in all our victories. Then again it's not even like we've had many of those.
Diego_Sideburns
Eyres was a benefit game the last official one was Richard Graham I think Shez in 2005. Eyresey in 2006. Edited November 20, 2015 by Diego_Sideburns
LaticsChris
Imagine a Danny philliskirk statue If he scored at Wembley in a victorious* play-off final I'd happily carve a Danny Philliskirk statue out of my own - and any willing contributors' - earwax. *Edit: For us, naturally. Then again it's not even like we've had many of those. Had a look on soccerbase at his stats. He's played 111 times apparently, and I think the Middlesborough game this season is the only game he's scored for us and we've lost. Not a bad record to be honest. He scores in bursts though, and will then go a while without a goal.
dec666
Someone on here would still try to say it was an own goal as the keeper got a touch on it Where as if Winchester scored it, some would have 'always known' he was capable of doing such a thing. SavageTheBeast
Someone on here would still try to say it was an own goal as the keeper got a touch on it Of course it was an own goal it re bounded into the net off the keepers back. SavageTheBeast
Shez in 2005. Eyresey in 2006. Shez doesn't count as a testimonial for us does it? Or was it for Sheffield Wednesday
Diego_Sideburns
Shez doesn't count as a testimonial for us does it? Or was it for Sheffield Wednesday It was at BP - I think the idea was to raise money for his knee operation(s).
