NewBlue
If they crowdfund the scoreboard, they should donate all advertising revenue that it generates into PlayerShare. How is that for fairness?
SavageTheBeast
Does that suggest it's been purchased? I get the impression their launching the crowdfunding and the screen on snapchat is a kind of 'this is what we want to get' kind of thing! Without the crowdfunding they won't have purchased it surely! I'm not sure thought it was the proper one
Lee Sinnott
It's outside the new stand at the moment showing Latics goals. I've been parked up at the end of my street for 10 minutes watching it. Looks great...

NewBlue
£30 for this bunch to sign a birthday card? I'd tippex them out... What happens if we don't raise the money? The club presumably just fund the rest?
Buckshawlatic
55 days to reach the £120k target. So in in response to your original question - that photo was "This is what you could have won" But instead of not seeing it till its funded we probably will never see it again - a lot of fans have given up spending money to actually watch the team never mind buy a scoreboard

super_blue
£30 for this bunch to sign a birthday card? I'd tippex them out... What happens if we don't raise the money? The club presumably just fund the rest? From my previous experience of crowdfunding if you don't reach the target then the money isn't relesed to the project so you essentially get the money back you have 'pledged/contributed' and the scoreboard doesn't happen. Although there is no reason that if we hit say £90,000 with 1hr to go then a mystery person (club maybe) gives the final £30k to hit the target and see the project succeed. Not heard of this company before though so that may be different. Edited February 3, 2016 by super_blue
