Conn Clarke ripped us a new one last season and will do this season.

Colclough is the best player in the league but for some reason they’ve moved him from left wing.

Berry played midweek and created a goal, fans were praising him for an outstanding debut. He was left out for the Oldham game to accommodate the the return of a star player. Read their fans forum.

Colclough doesn't look as sharp, maybe carrying an injury.

Come on.... how many posts can you make into a DU out post?. At least its not costing a Phil Jones amount let alone a Maguire. Shit signings always happens at all clubs. 

Given where our squad was coming from we ain't done too bad.

I thought we had someone else in overseeing recruitment? How can you read that as an Unsworth out post? What it's costing is all relative, if we are waiting for a couple to go we could well be at the limit of the budget.

Fair point.  I should imagine we are at the budget limit and if the likes of Rooney and possibly Hope ain't going to make the squad, it makes sense to use their wage elsewhere.  If the target moves beforehand then we miss that one.

The rumour is Franks said shift a couple before signing anyone else. Apparently we’re trying to move Rooney and Hope on.
 

Them 2 alone is probably 4-5k a week in wages combined

That rumour could well be true,  it makes sense. 

OK  I get DU may have brought Rooney in ( I think he did) however no manager/coach gets every signing right or character. This is one of the reasons a manager needs time to get his squad right.  

Like DU or not we the fans need to get behind the side. Divided we fall. Come the end of the season let's judge then.  We will either succeed or know we are very close for the next season.

It would be a fair request. 

 

If Rooney knows this, it's likely he'll be even more stubborn about his pay off and leverage the fact we need him out the door to bring someone in to a struggling midfield.

By people who don't understand how to handle the media. Look at how Klopp and Guardiola were doing it a couple of years ago saying the other team were favourites he's trying to protect his players they are under enough pressure to get promoted as it is. If he comes out and says we should be winning the league then he gives a stick for people to beat him with.
