jorvik_latic
You're one of my favourite posters on here, Harry. But you've :censored:ed up big time here. Gregan every day of the week... To be fair, he's weeded out 9 weirdos who voted for Clarke.
HarryBosch
How could you forget about the strut, poor form from you Bosch I was still pissed from Chesterfield.

GlossopLatic
If we had got Clarke 2 years ago then this poll might be abit more interesting.
mcfluff1985
To be fair, he's weeded out 9 weirdos who voted for Clarke. I'm assuming all those are too young to remember gregan
Clifford
What's next Joe Royle vs Dickov?
Markspark92
Gregan was the dogs bollocks not many got the better of him plus he could ping a ball, Clarke good solid defender and leader but no where near Gregans level
mcfluff1985
What's next Joe Royle vs Dickov? Big Joe v Dunn
MAC0AFC
Did beckford ever get the better of Gregan? He made going to watch Oldham worthwhile did Gregan, the strut, the time on the ball, the ego that he carried whilst playing, the passing range, the no-nonsense tackling! Frankly Mr Shankly
That period in December 2006 was Gregan at his absolute best. He was monster that month. One of my favourite month's as a Latics fan that.

Kusunga_Is_God
Lovely strike on his debut I also loved it during the Penney season when he would rip off his tape armband in disgust.
Scapegoat
Lovely strike on his debut https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vz5VwldMAD4&feature=youtu.be&t=5 I also loved it during the Penney season when he would rip off his tape armband in disgust. Great game that. 3-1 up and the Kettering gravy train supporters poured out of the ground...to then desperately struggle to get back in as Kettering scored two quick goals. Hopefully most of them were back inside to see the winner ;-) Edited February 8, 2017 by Scapegoat

Wasn't that his only goal for us?......apart from the one at Scunny!!
oafcprozac
No he scored at Exeter under Penney just the 3 1/2 years between goals. Nov '06 to March '10!!! ? Edited February 8, 2017 by oafcprozac
RichardOafc
Locally? I would like to see Sean gregan as assistant to shez, I don't think we would have any problems with the work rate and motivation of the players.

Latics_Fanatic
Closer contest now? Absolute pleasure watching Clarke play for us this season. Professional in every sense of the word, as well as an incredibly intelligent footballer. I think I've grown more appreciative of the defensive side of the game than I was when Gregan was here, though.

oafc_lover
Gregan for his strut alone. Fucking mountain. But since him, Clarke by an absolute solar system.

Baxter could have been the 'best' player since but he had no consistency so I agree with you.
