  1. Main may not be the most talented footballer, and he's certainly not a goalscorer, but he put a massive shift in tonight. Chased every single ball down and won most of them.
  2. That sounds very positive from the trust. I had already contributed but will put some more in the pot now.
  3. His rape conviction appeal will be heard at the Court of Appeal on March 22nd.
  4. I think the problem with Coleman is confidence. His is clearly shot at the moment and he needs to be taken out of the firing line because he is costing us points.
  5. Just received an email from Mark Moisley saying the offer does apply to 100 club tickets too, at the same rate as other season tickets - £50 a win. That's a pleasant surprise that I wasn't expecting to be honest.
  6. Does anyone know if the offer applies to 100 club tickets ? I would presume not.
  7. I think he's just listing the fixtures in March, given the title of the thread.
  8. I'm sure Burnley would happily let him go but he'll want compensating for the difference in the wage he'd earn in his last year at Burnley and the wage we could offer him.
  9. Quite shaky in my opinion. Flapped at a few corners and failure to claim one resulted in the panicked clearance that led to their goal (he still had a lot to do and it was a fantastic strike). No assists today. A lot of his clearances were over hit straight to their keeper.
  10. Gerrard tweeted that the pitch has ruined his legs today. Says it's like playing in quick sand.
  11. Great to see the heads staying up after going a goal down. Pre Shez, whenever we went a goal down at home, any confidence they had immediately dissapeared and you knew we were unlikely to get anything from the game. It was also good to see us continue to create good chances after going in front rather than packing 11 men behind the ball and hoping to cling on.
  12. I wonder if they've actually bought it anyway and are just trying to raise as much money towards it as they can, seeing as it's parked outside the north stand every time anything is going on at the club.
  13. Don't think it helps that you can't donate on mobile (at least not on my Samsung). I will be donating when I get back to my PC but I travel a lot for work.
  14. As hard as it is to believe they do have more fans than us at the moment
  15. Haha, yeah, looks odds on for a postponement
  16. Did anyone else see one of directors, Ian Hill, on Homes under the Hammer this morning with Dion Dublin in Shaw ? I want sure he actually existed until I saw him on TV.
  17. Got talking to the Wigan captain (Craig Morgan) in the pub last night. He said he was impressed by us and thought we deserved at least a point. He also said he rates Shez very highly as a manager and thinks we have a decent chance of staying up with him in charge.
  18. Warnock has got the Rotherham job. Quite surprised he fancies all the stress of a relegation battle at his age.
  19. Doubt it. Tommy wants to stay up north for family reasons. That's why he didn't go to Plymouth with Shez.
  20. I think that was his son-in-law who was chief executive of JJB at the time.
  21. He's Dave Whelan's grandson. He wanted a family member to take over when he retired and he was the closest relative interested in doing it. Apparently his only previous business experience was bankrupting a chippy that his grandad bought for him.
  22. Anna Kocheran is there quite a lot now that the new stand is up and running. She was at the Simon Wood event and I've see her around the hospitality areas a couple of times on match day. My impression is that she is their eyes and ears at the OEC.
  23. One thing I noticed was that plenty of players were released from their contracts today without signing for another club. As they can be signed outside the window, hopefully we have a couple of these lined up.
  24. The lack of atmosphere and noise tonight allowed me to appreciate his organisation skills. He was constantly talking to the rest of the back four, telling them where to position themselves - particularly Wilson, who looked a bit lost at right back in the first half.
