Walsall have reduced prices and are expecting a full house against Northampton on Saturday, we should have done the same.

We may have had a chance if Wellens would accept we were in deep mire and a real dogfight. Instead since Xmas he's been going on about the future planning as if we're mid division and just playing the season out.

Biggest concern is that RW clearly can't motivate the players. A neutral last night would have thought that Southend were the team in relegation trouble. Just cant see how he can change things because he also tactically inept.

It's their home record that's doing them, a few weeks ago they had 2 great away wins at Rotherham & Walsall followed by 3 very winnable home games. They lost 1 & drew the other 2 so am happy to see they have far more home games left.

I was worried a few weeks ago when I saw how many hone games Dale had left, thankfully it's their home form that's keeping them down.

Conceding early means they can park the bus like they did in the last home match against Charlton. When they do that players like Tope & Duckens become ineffective.

What will that do for Fleetwood players over the last few games!!!! Hopefully trying to impress the new boss who will be watching, especially for the last one v Walsall.

Let's get things in perspective to all those whinging, yes we were poor but in last month or so Spurs, Wigan, Portsmouth & Shrewsbury have all been to dogdale. None have kept a clean sheet and only 1 has won.

Gerrard was poor but we have nothing on the bench to change it. Also think these on Facebook etc saying we were gutless etc are way out of order. The defenders especially gave their all and remember this is virtually a different back 4 to the one we had a month ago. The bottom line is that mid field especially are way off the pace and extremely poor ability wise. When your lacking in those aspects then all you have is fight and luck. Defensively we had those but going forward we are one of the poorest sides in the league. IF we stay up then this is the area we need to get some class in.

If we're still out of the bottom 4 come Saturday night I will not only be amazed I will be absolutely ecstatic.

D & B are not the versions we had earlier because were not playing them the same or playing in the same way as a team. Doyle needs a partner to play off and its not Nazon.Byrne was playing centre mid and now RW is asking him to play wide right. I would start with Holloway & Doyle with Byrne just behind then bring Ducks on 2nd half and let him run at tired defences. Got to go 4312 with Fane,Gardner & prob Pringle in the mid and start every game with a much higher intensity like we did when RW first took over.

Just seen Wimbledons injury time penalty at Walsall, if that's a pen then why don't we average 3 a game!!!

Does anybody know if the ball was in play when the offence took place??? My understanding is that if not then play should restart from the last decision the ref gave, i.e. throw in or free kick!!

We have had 3 very winnable games in the last week and won none. Were not showing from the start that we want to win it enough. The team starts off as thou its an end of season game. We just dont look hungry enough for the first 30mins until something changes. Today it wasn't until Duckers went wide right and Byrne came more central that we looked like scoring. We need to start games with far more passion and more importantly the right line up. RW still doesn't know the best starting set up and he is fast running out of time. RW is stupid to say we were comfortable at 1-0 , no team is even Barcelona. As Cloughie used to say it only takes a second to score. I fear the way Dale will start on Tuesday could see us 3 down before RW has sussed out the format he wants.

No good worrying about others, win our games and it doesn't matter.

Byrne either plays in centre mid or drop him. Complete waste for the past few games in his wide role. Curse of the English game at all levels even internationals when good players are played of position.

Wrong time to be in bad form. Didn't expect anything today except a gritty performance and its very worrying that the last 3 games have been poor. Notice Fleetwood haven't conceded for 4 games and that's where it starts. I was confident we would escape this morning even with defeat at Wigan but after watching that I am very worried now.

International injury again, we do seem fated with these, McLaughlin was on form until he got called up then went to pot. Hope Hunt last the season out as he can be injury prone.

Wigan will have a big impact on relegation battle, think they have to play the bottom 6 during run in.

With no game Saturday then Wigan away next we could be in a bit of trouble by the time Blackpool are in town!!?
