It shows what a remarkable job Shez has done because i think that of the team that started the match today we had 9 or 10 of the players that were here at the start of the season !!! Great news on Clarke , Think Ripley will depend on how boro do this season . If they get relegated there is every chance we could have him for next season but if they stay up i would think they would want him to try the championship.

Don't think it's a fans myth , This league is definitely weaker than previous years. Look at Sheff Utd , walking away with it this year and their team is no better than previous years when they have struggle to make a play off place at times. The reason we have constantly finished 15th and below is because each year our team is weaker than the previous year and no better example of that than the last 3 years. Part of the reason is that the championship is getting stronger and similar to the premier league it is increasingly based on your financial position. The weaker sides are now being relegated to league 1 and consequently there are very few "BIG" teams in league one now. That's why i am convinced that if Shez could stay and sign a couple of decent players there is no reason why we can't have a play off push at least next season.

I sit in the MSU and i am a vocal critic of Banks, He's lazy and a prima dona that a relegation threatened club can't afford. He puts our team under more pressure that he does the opposition. His stupidy tonight cost us a goal , his weak misplaced pass lead to the penalty, he could have reduced us to ten men with his ridiculous challenge on a guy near the touchline going nowhere. His defending is poor at best and is always liable to give silly free kicks away in dangerous areas. Yes i vocally criticize him when he makes mistakes because he does more than anybody else,backs out of tackles and contributes little in a game. I pay my money and am entitled to my opinion that Banks is :censored:. I don't like him and wish he never played for us.

Think peoples expectations of Taylor were probably too high hence some disappointment , also think some on here would slag him off even if he scored a hatrick. Taylor holds the ball up well and makes some great runs without it (mostly unseen). He's definitely not match fit to last a full 90 min yet but he will soon get upto speed. Has hardly played this season so understandable and a pitch like ours is extremely tiring especially when your chasing a lot of the time. Shez will know all this and he will put it right and i am sure that he will be a major contributor to our survival this season.

Looking at the remaining fixtures we have probably the most difficult run in of all the teams around us. Reckon we need 5 wins but struggling to see where we would get them due to lack of goals , dont want to be going to wimbledon final game needing a point or three !!!!
