Yeh Bryan at CH was a master move by RW. He reads the game so well and jumps well, it looks effortless to him. No coincidence that we also have the old Clarke back playing alongside him. RW has made a few changes that Shez wouldn't and he is reaping the rewards.

Don't think it's a case of whether Fane is a better footballer or not, Fane fits weĺl into this team and plays his part, Banks doesn't.

The big difference with Fane under RW is that he just does what he is very good at , i.e. breaking up play. Notice now when he wins the ball either Byrne or Gardener go near him and he just lays it off to them. Under Shez he would dwell on it like bambi and get caught out.

Judging by Gerrards tweet it sounds like being paid late is a regular occurrence but not by 10 days! !!!

I turned over after 10min and watched Scotland. More passion and excitement in one game than England manage in a full campaign.

Given the current situation and the way things have gone since Shez left I cant think of one single reason why he SHOULDN'T be given the job.

Whats galling about the situation is had that refs performance had been at Old Trafford the only way he would have been allowed to ref again would be under an alias name in South America , but the FL will have him on show again next week to ruin another game!!!!

Whats annoying about these situations with the ref is that not only will nothing get done after ruining what could have been a great game but they get rewarded as well. This clown had a nightmare last week where he booked 10 players in the Luton v Mansfield match in league 2, reward for that shocking performance is a game in league 1. Imagine a ref performance like that in the premier league !!!!!, yes demotion for a few weeks and re training. They should bring in a sin bin where 2 bookings like Fanes are given 10 min there and not ruining the game altogether. The FL is struggling with crowds and having idiots in charge like him wont do anything to get people back, this is supposedly an entertainment industry not a Refs ego society.

Going back to Jimmy MaciIroy's days when he would bring a boat load of Irish over on Friday night. Team was announced on Saturday and only heard of 4 of the players before !!!!

Some of the blame !!!! Shez has really disappointed me this season. He was fully aware from day one where our main problem is - midfield. Yet he has failed to bring anybody in to cover that position, ok maybe the players he wanted aren't available or affordable but to play Banks against Wigan and leave Fane on the bench is inexcusable. He must have known how strong Wigan are and to fill the midfield with powderpuff gets what it deserves. Even more disappointing his the comments after the Walsall match , it's almost as if he's saying , there Mr Corney that's what i have got and this is what happens when you play them !! How can he send players out with confidence when his own body language is so downbeat. Your the manager Shez, you said you have learnt a lot since you first managed Latics so please grow up , get on with the job or move aside.

Frustrated with Shez and his comments, He has known from day 1 what our problems are - Midfield Yet who has he signed , defenders and second rate forwards. Except for Gardner (who we haven't seen yet but will be amazed if he's the answer to our problems) Shez has kept the same midfield despite knowing how inadequate it is. Stop moaning Shez and get something done about it , you have had long enough to get somebody in so please stop bleating. If you can't then move aside and let somebody else in who is prepared to have a go.

Think that the others having decent keepers in they can start season with is part of the problem. Ripley wants guarantee No1 spot and Rovers & Br City i don't think can offer him that. Latics could !! I think the Ripleys are in a dilemma - The other 2 for wages but not No 1 or Latics for less but def No 1. As his dad says - he's 24 now and needs 1st team football to enhance his career , Don't rule Latics out yet !!!
