  1. Seem as Nissan are taking legal action against the leave campaign and wrote out to their employees pretty much telling them to vote 'in' or lose their jobs. I would suspect it may have fallen on deaf ears.
  2. I wonder which managers are going to shift from their jobs to England manager (especially ones with no connection). Bilic is on £3M at West Ham, and I think this is before a bit of the money sets in as well. Koeman is on £6M and the top ones £15M. Hodgson was on £3.5M at England. Doesn't matter to me. Get in who the hell they want. We are certainly not producing technically good players. They can't pass to each other from ten yards away. Until we put the money into kids being coached properly (if in doubt...) as Crusoe mentions above, then we won't win anything. We've won one game in the Euros in a knockout game. And that one was on penalties. And that was because the ref ignored the opposition team scoring. And still we think we are doing it right.
  3. Polls are rather in favour of staying in (more so than any election errors in the other polls). Financial markets think it is a done deal as well, with the pound doing much better in time for the holiday season. My guess is the pensioners have :censored: it, when the thought of their money going AWOL appeared.
  4. Surely to god we can now throw our B team in. How much is it to register players? We could raffle off a first team game for fans.
  5. I'm not sure if Titanium was a great choice or far too soon... France will get mullered if they play like that against a decent team.
  6. Do we know how many season tickets went in the promotion (I would imagine that virtually all of these would have bought one anyway)? Could this related to the kind of numbers we are asking for Sheridan? If a thousand bought it, that is about £150k... Our budget, with a £150k slice taken out, is very small indeed. NB. Just a wild guess.
  7. Boo!! My favourite manager at the moment (none JS)/last two years. Turn them down I say!
  8. I presume people do realise that if he gets sacked his contract gets paid up (it may take the period of the contract to do so)? He'd be bonkers not to take the Leeds job. As for the retained list. He will do a professional job until he gets the Leeds/other bigger club job, as he may just be here next year.
  9. Were many adequate? On a separate subject, Swfc chairman at the time and shortly after fa board member dave Richards. Oh I'll stop now...
  10. Plymouth up. Bristol too, like Clarke myself. Not bothered about the other. Donny and Blackpoo down.
  11. Can't see Wednesday being in trouble. They settled liability over to the police early doors (I think - paid money to them for that anyway) and then the parent company went under (who would surely have the liability if it remained) in 2011. That's if there was no insurance (who I guess paid the aforementioned money) or if they can't off load responsibility.
  12. The price tag means next to nothing though. What is the largest amount a tribunal has come to with managers? I'd imagine it wouldn't be a great deal.
  13. What's boltons financials actually like now? Surely it hasn't just gone away! NB. More chance of rocking horse :censored:e as us being relegated now.
  14. I can spot these April Fools' things a mile away...
  15. Someone mentioned football fan and urinal in the same sentence. That's all I need to whack it up again... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zNjXSF6npZA
  16. I give more life than god and George Clooney put together so copy at your peril!
  17. Clive James (captain) Charlie sheen Philip (duke of Edinburgh) Michael Schumacher Salvar kiir mayardit (South Sudan president) Ben Johnson (runner) Frankie Muniz Warwick Davis Michael adebolajo Michael adebowale KD date: 9 March.
  18. I can hear Jason Roberts being wheeled out as we speak (well, type).
  19. If principles meant anything to them they could always pull out of the cup.
  20. I think China will realise my back handed compliment when I say I hate Stockport County. I love our games together and am happy they are suffering. I'd love them to be a :censored: team in our division so we could stuff them, but this is fun enough.
