  1. Glad the trust are voicing their displeasure over this. Hope it's the start of a proper voice for the fans. woukdbt have happened on Barry's watch...
  2. Record since relegation in 1994 Sept '94 L0-1 (my only visit sharp 2 disallowed goals and red card for Gerrard. Last minute winner from Otto) April '96 D1-1 Creaney November '96 D1-1 Redmond October '97 D1-1 Barlow Sept '05 L1-2 Wellens Dec '07 W1-0 Hughes Nov '08 W2-1 Taylor, Hughes Sept '09 W1-0 Abbott (pen) Dec '11 D1-1 FAC Wesolowski April '16 W1-0 Main hoping for another positive result
  3. Just watched the highlights, I stand corrected - still the best ball of the game and full back or not he should have buried it.
  4. Went last night, thoroughly enjoyable. Mrs P loved it too... as my last visit to the Coliseum was in 1985 as an eight year old to watch Mother Goose, I was surprised how small the auditorium was. The Stuart Pyke bits were a nice touch, sounded like a mixture of re-recordings (good of him to give his time up) and the live chaos of the final day. Glad I went.
  5. Best ball of the game was in open play, Taylor's cross to the far post, which Law headed over.
  6. You've also got an $11 a night local tax to pay. & they'll charge your credit card deposit against breakages anything up to $300 I flatly refused and gave them $50 (basically a con to persuade you to open a tab for food and drink in the hotel)
  7. Very easy mate, just across from arrivals change at Jamaica to get into manhattan $7.75 one way + $1 for your metro card
  8. Not seen this I'll take a look. I wake up on a Monday, and before I know it I've collapsed in my chair exhausted on a Friday evening. Just what's needed in a Bitesize chunk
  9. For all the Holloway love in on here - he has to start bagging or we will go down. 37 games and 23 goals. 46 points was enough last season with Vale having 12 games left I reckon it may be significantly more this year. I said a few weeks ago that Blackpool going into March were well clear yet they got dragged gown and had a poor finish. I'm still erring on the side of scraping home but I feel Wimbledon may well be an uncomfortable afternoon..
  10. Oxford will be no walk in the park they're free scoring away from home. After failing to score in 3 out of the last 4 and many of the better sides in league one to come to BP in our last 5 home games, I'm worried given Vale - who are :censored: but still scored 3 today against a team we couldn't score against in TWO games this season, still have three games in hand...
  11. Thought he was powderpuff today ref offered little protection but he's about as threatening as Elmo with a :censored:ing water pistol...
  12. I'll add to the controversy, save for his effort blasted over v Posh he's not looked like scoring - his hold up play is excellent but he needs to get in the box he's a striker after-all. Otherwise he's simply a genetic big lump that holds up the ball and tbf they are ten a penny at this level sane as big lump stopper CBs. Some better than others but still ten a penny... AAH has two oafc goals in 20 games
  13. Can't wait to 'go home' for two games. At the time I thought it was the right decision now - when I see 200 fans regularly sat in many of us' spiritual home it saddens me....
  14. He's been stealing a living for years. Everything that's wrong with the modern game but for his alleged friendship with the hierarchy at the club he'd be in the conference at best. Strange decision from Shez to stick him in given the wide and fullback options we have. I know we've played a lot of games lately but croft would be nowhere near this team. As you can tell I'm no longer his biggest fan. His first two spells he had a real impact on games. When we signed him in 2015 my heart sank....
  15. Miskelly kept two late on v Chesterfield and Swindon (H) both 4-0 wins
  16. Lots of respect for you BP but he's spent 4 years in the championship so he's offered something the pace isn't there but he offered intelligence today
  17. Ripley apart I thought Green was MOTM and I'm his biggest sideways and backwards passing critic but credit where it's due...
  18. Stoke got on DVD I'll dig it out when I get chance April '96 2nd in a 2-0 win after a Richardson pen win made us safe with a game to spare
  19. He did think he'll be better away on pitches that are green
  20. I thought he was ok not seeing an end product yet but he keeps possession. Holloways the one who concerns me doesn't look like scoring any time soon
  21. We Had a fantastic time for my 40th Birthday trip, thanks for the tips people Managed Brooklyn Nets v Memphis Grizzlies at the Barclays Centre Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour One World Obsevatory at top of WTC 1 9/11 Memorial The United Narions Tour Also took in the sights on 5th Avenue Wall Street Lobby and outside of the Empire State Building Rockefeller Centre Radio City Music Hall Chrysler Building Flat Iron Building Grand Central Station Madison Square Garden Stayed in Times Square found it expensive and tacky. Want to go again but will stay over the bridge. Surprised me how expensive things were luckily our budget covered it. We decided on the 7 day subway pass which at $31 was great value as we much have hopped on and off 15-20 times. The Air Train from JFK at $5 each way was great value.
