    there was a moron sat in the stockport end who cheered when we went 1-0 up. I was sat in the same stand but just kept quiet, wasn't hard.

    With the way we're playing we've got to be looking at 2 wins. A win against Coventry and the Bradford game will be bouncing.

    Noticed that Chris Taylor is still on the bench for Blackburn. What's happened to him? He was easily Championship quality when he was with is, but hasn't cut it there yet.

    We're drawing the tough away games and getting wins at home. And it seems like sometimes we're not playing the best but still getting results. I'm liking what's going on at the moment.

    He knows that league inside out, but it might be too much to ask for him to take them from bottom in October to promotion in one season. He'd definitely see them back in L1 the season after though.

    Our recent good form seems to be down to a good team spirit and players who want to play rather than be footballers (think LJ said that at some point). Surely Evans doesn't fit into that, and that's before you remember he's a convicted rapist.

    Agree. He's adapted to be a L1 CM/RM, but he'd have to adapt again to be good in that position in the Championship. If he carries on the way he's going though, he should definitely get there.

    There's not much between them but Tarky will become lots better and is rightly playing in the Championship, but you don't expect Wilson to make the occasional cock-up that Tarky would sometimes do. All of the players who've left us have been replaced by people who are as good (if not better). Mills for Grounds, J Wilson for Tarky, B Wilson for Brown, Jones for Wes, Kelly for Smith, Forte for JCH. Fair play to LJ and Corney.

    LJ's quotes in the MEN. The more I think about it, the more this signing makes sense. All the teams that we've seen go up from this league are big, strong and pacey, and now we're starting to get that in our team. Couple that with trying to play some decent football and we could do well.

    My dad goes to Latics and Dale on alternate weekends. He goes to some away games for both, and keeps up with both teams. I'd say he's a proper supporter of both, especially considering neither have been above L1 for 18 years. Sums up the 'rivalry' really - you wouldn't find many other derby rivals sharing supporters. He says there's never any reaction at Spotland when Latics scores are read out, but definitely is if Bury are losing.

    Rochdale see Bury as their main rivals too, they hate eachother. Hopefully they can stay in L1 for a while and we can build up a rivalry rather than pretend a proper one exists.

    Orient surely can't be offering enough of a pay rise for Johnson to consider leaving his safe job and good relationship with Corney, for an unstable job under a chairman who's just forced arguably the best manager in the league out.
