  1. Good job Feeney had already signed his contract when he was breathalysed or he might have been out on his ear as well!!!!
  2. Have you suddenly forgotten the precarious position we're in, you talk as though we are flushed with cash, where's the flamin money coming from.......we might not even be here in the summer!!!!
  3. We have a great chance to improve our play-off chances as the next 5 games in 15 days are all winable. 3 teams in and around us in the table and the bottom 2 clubs. Brentford h 22nd Jan Walsall a 25th Jan Carlisle a 29th Jan Hartlepool h 1st Feb Dag R/B h 5th Feb I think the next 2 weeks could make or break our season!
  4. I reckon he could be off in this window....he's almost certainly our top earner and to date he has looked very ordinary. He's not been with the Irish squad for some time now and yet he still cannot command a first team place. One cup goal in over 5 months is not what we were looking for and we can't afford to carry a squad player like that on big wages....a loan deal away from BP would provide a major boost to our transfer funds.
  5. Have we signed this guy yet? I´m away on holiday.
  6. That would do nicely....according to STFC website he's their best and most influential performer and the players were recently urged by Danny Wilson to prove that they weren't a one man team during his recent ban.
  7. According to the chron his future at the club is in the balance!
  8. 'the support of both so-called sporting towns is a disgrace.' Because they're all at Eastlands and Old Trafford!!!
  9. If it was guaranteed he would have played at Rochdale!
  10. At the moment we have no money and unless we get some new investment from somewhere pretty soon Trotman will be back at Preston or somewhere else......what's the point of dropping Hazell and disrupting the back four to accomodate Trotman when he'll be gone in early January. The Trotman of old would walk into our team but in truth he's hardly played a 1st team game this season and will need a few games to get up to speed by which time he will be back at Preston. If Hazell gets injured then fair enough otherwise I can't see Trotman getting a game!
  11. 'I'd have to say Kelly is one of the worse strikers we have had, his first touch is dire' We must be watching different players....he's young, quick, has a good first touch and given a run in the side would definitely score goals. Whenever he has come off the bench he has nearly always had a positive effect on the play. I think his general play is excellent and he holds the ball up very well.....he just needs a few games to get his confidence up and then I think we'll have a good player on our hands. I would certainly extend his contract until the end of the season at least!!
  12. Even if the pitch is OK to start with by half time it will be rock hard and with the previous game being abandoned I reckon they won't want to go through all that again. It's the Ref's call but I can't see anything else but a postponement!
  13. Stephens was going through the motions in the 2nd half, he thinks he can stroll about and play the Hollywood ball all the time....he needs to pull his finger out and work a lot harder defensively like Furman. Can't believe we threw that away in the last 15 minutes but full credit to Exeter who looked like scoring with every attack in the last few minutes!!
  14. I was there that night......you're right, it was a superb hatrick, but it was against Southampton!
  15. Think Paul Jones at West Brom was a great debut and if I remember rightly a certain Andy Ritchie made his debut in thhe same game and I remember thinking to myself this lad is shocking!!!
  16. Correct!!!! One game could be a get together...however, attending 2 or 3 games in succession tells us something is definitely happening!!!!
  17. Without doubt our best performance for a few years, some of our football was a delight to watch and if we can continue to play like that there will be nothing to fear in this league. If we had been 4 up at the break Huddersfield could not have complained....we really need to make more from the chances we are creating. The back four were awesome especially Black and Hazell, my only gripe is im midfield where I wish Stephens would release the ball quicker and play the simple pass occasionally instead of the 'Hollywood' ball all the time. We need to sign Moraise, on that form he is a class act and was my man of the match. There was an extra 3/400 home fans today and entertainment like that will surely see them return.
  18. What's new.............Just like 95% of the football clubs in the UK were are and always will be a selling club!!
  19. Another great turnout today by our fans................The official crowd on BBC site was 2275, we reportedly took 1500 and outnumbered them 2 to 1. Was there really only about 750 home fans!!!!!
