Article on Sky now with a small different interview with MK, he has said that the deal is 100% on whether he can make a stadium for us and Roughyeds - whether he is allowed etc. And the only other thing it says is that he can get around that rule of only being allowed to own one rugby club by having his wife own Roughyeds.

I completely understand why this has happened and now I've leg the devastation I had die down a little and I've slept on it this move is definitely more beneficial to the club. However, Baxter was not 'surplus to requirements surely' him just behind Rooney would of worked wonders this season I feel, but we move on. Playing excellent football even without him so it doesn't matter I suppose! Love Jose though.

Smith is definitely one of the best signing of recent times, up there with Baxter definitely. And I love that he's our captain, I'd imagine it will be hard to keep hold of him but lets hope we do! I think that Mellor should be put in alongside Smith but Wes used for the overly physical games, beauty of having a strong squad.

I'm more aiming at matchdays, away games in the pubs etc, what annoys me with SOME Oldham fans is how quick they are to say someone is :censored: not necessarily whole heatedly saying he's :censored: and then possibly changing their opinion. Tarkowski was a prime example of this, the amount of people I've heard say that he was completely awful, release him etc in his FIRST season of professional football is ridiculous, the them same Oldham fans who I've spoken to act like they've never said such a thing and love the lad. Of course someone can say that a player has been :censored: over the course of a season, like (Matt Smith) and then change their opinion for last season like I did (because it was a shock to everyone) but in Matt Smiths first season there were people going mental, instead of giving him time. There's players in this team that I can already see some of our fans again giving unjustified stick - Rooney, Dayton etc. And it's just so annoying, we all need to be supporting them if we want to get anywhere!
