  1. Chap in front of me at the game had £100 on us after we went 1-0 down at 11/10.....happy days
  2. I was there last night and a couple of points... 1. AL was NOT in the away end...probably for a good reason as he would have got some shit! He was sitting in the small stand next to the away fans with his brother and a few others, and was beaming like a Cheshire cat at the end of the game. Without the late winner I doubt he would have showed his face! 2. Before his moment of brilliance for the goal, Gardner was absolutely bloody dreadful and was getting lamented by most of the fans around me. I'd play him wider or further forward as the times he gives the ball away in his own half when playing deep and causes us problems is just unacceptable. 3. Fans were brilliant again in the circumstances and kept going right to the end. Atmosphere was excellent 4. Bunns substitution of Miller left everyone I saw gobsmacked! Yes OG won the header for the winner but why would you bring off your most dangerous player when you are 1-0 down - sorry but baffling! 5. Maouche is still a fraud of a player who will not put his foot in or break sweat for the team!
  3. Freddie Lapodo voted league 1 player of the month for October scoring 6 goals in a struggling Plymouth side... Another one that maybe got away...
  4. That's a bit shit. should be a few more from the OASIS crew now on open sale. Got mine Monday and taking a mate
  5. Come on lads Lost at home to Oxford City 4-2 Saturday and they havn't won in 5! Get through the first 15 mins of madness then we should piss it!! http://www.hamptonfc.net/teams/110868/match-centre/1-3614912
  6. Your not wrong Andy....however as you say he may be useful in this league. I've seen plenty a lot worse than him in some of the sides we have struggled against as well as our own!
  7. I guess JoeP because the next rung down etc are paid to do a job properly and have a responsibility to do so. The man at the top pays the wages (well sometimes!!) may be incompetent, and can pretty much do as he wants....because he's the man at the top! AL is what he is. We are stuck with him. Bunn we are not.
  8. Anyone got any info on Fane's progress from injury? Be great if he could get back before the Christmas period. He will be an asset for us in this league when fit and an upgrade on most of what we have.
  9. Whilst all this would be ideal......you still need to have a manager who tactically can get a tune out of his players, and progress the team. Without this all of the above are pretty irrelevant. Can you honestly say from what you seen so far this season Bunn ticks these boxes? I cannot.
  10. Last season as I said a few times we persevered with Wellens for far too long and got relegated. Think the general consensus was if he was binned with 5 or 6 games left, we probably would have got the points needed to have stayed up with the squad we had. Bunns record, particularly of late is utter crap and any other chairman in our position would have sacked him by now. Yes the club in general is a fucking mess at the moment, but we have to at least try to move forward. Yes we don't have the same level of player as last year, but the players we do have are better than 17th in League 2. And yes the players say they respect him etc, but it's just not visible on the pitch at the moment. I've seen us at Forest Green (who were the best of the bunch), Yeovil, Swindon, Northampton, and Stevenage, and the general performances, of both players and the manager have been dire. Stevenage was OK in parts but horse shit in others. Lose tomorrow and its 5 losses out of 6 going into what's become our biggest game financially of the season....and one which may get us through the season at least. The question is how long do we wait before trying something or someone new?

  12. What most are saying on here is hard to argue against. However we can change the manager... but not the owner.... not easily anyway. All im saying is roll the dice and we may get lucky. Bunn can't get the best out what we have, and whilst not brilliant our squad is miles better than 17th in league 2. Whilst I think AL is a knob, the performances Bunn has got from what he has available is not acceptable. He'd get sacked at any club based on what he serves up on the pitch.
  13. Legend for me during the pinch me years but enough is enough. Frankie is just not a manager. Agree with some about who the fuck replaces him...however the way I feel after today is my 10 year old daughter is a better option. Nothing to lose so I say roll the dice?
  14. Performance aside we needed 3 points last night however they came. Hopefully confidence will increase and we will get a result on Saturday.
  15. I think this is a great Cup tie for us , which will get some good national focus and hopefully some positive press for the club. Fuck me if we cant beat this lot then we really are fucked! Reaching the 3rd round this year and hopefully getting a money spinning tie, is more important than ever, and might just get us through the season. Plus an outside chance of a TV game and some more money, is better than a none descript home tie in front of 2000 fans.
  16. Look on the bright side.... Its on a Tuesday night so we can't lose!!
  17. If the players have actually been paid yet? If AL is in and around the club at the moment sorting the latest mess out? Appologies if these have been answered in other threads and I've missed them.
