The squad is big. . Ok- who comes in for Clarke or George? Oh that’s right, a kid on loan from Sheffield United. I’ll put it another way- this promotion chasing team we supposedly are has a kid, an old pro, and another kid on loan as it’s ‘options’ at centre half. That’s just one area of the massive squad I can be arsed highlighting. 8 unbeaten- ‘but we beat two non league teams in that run’ if my auntie had bollocks she’d be my uncle. The simple fact is we beat them. He would of been sacked after Hampton- see above. Whose papering over the cracks?? Not one person has suggested he was doing a terrific job, or was the second coming. However was he doing that badly to warrant the sack?? Not a chance. There isnt one justifible reason to sack him. Unless your egomaniac like our owner.

Bollocks. In what way has he underachieved MASSIVELY??? We have no money. The squad is really thin. We have a very erratic owner. He sacked his number two. We were on the verge of the playoffs two games ago. We had just gone 8 unbeaten two games ago. Where (should) we be? How any fair minded fan can look at the big picture and say Bunn was underachieving is beyond me.

I totally agree with most of that. But non of that has happened or is looking likely. Thing is, he had a group who were pushing the playoffs, and up until Boxing Day we’re showing real signs of promise. So. . . With that said. Frankie was doing ok. Its a very, very harsh sacking IMO.

Utter bollocks. The owner obviously can’t/wont pay for better players. So that’s a completely moot point. He had us mid table, under a very erratic owner, with no money, and a very thin squad. He was doing ok. Darren Kelly was incapable. Ritchie Wellens record ended in relegation - with a far, far bigger budget. Frankie’s record proves he was actually quite capable. You choose AL’s running of the club when it suits your arguement. Either the owner is problem to the incumbent manger or he’s not.

I can’t keep up Eyrsey. Its the managers fault. We need better players - with all that money we’re hiding. AL Needs to pay for promotion. Any manager will have to deal with his hands on style. Your so wise. Da hear me? Out of interest, what’s the next manager’s sample size? The press conference?

Hang on. . I thought we just needed a better manager???? If AL isn’t paying for promotion, (which I agree he’s not) then surely the expectations of the manger should reflect that?

Agreed. I was thinking similar yesterday. Corney did it numerous times. Why is it so bad if AL does it? Should he do it? Probably not, but I do think it’s understandle to a point. I will say this though, you can’t do it more than once (in a season ) otherwise you do start to look stupid, and the effect quickly wares off.

Top post. Agree 100%. If we start sacking managers that are doing ok, on top of the shit ones, we’ll be giving it to the kit man next.

This is exactly where i’m at. The goal difference isn’t great, and crucially when we do lose it’s by the odd goal. I don’t think we’re far off, but I think your right we need another organiser other than Clarke.

I think we’re doing ok on the whole, and the fact we’re scoring more than I can remember is a huge plus. However we do conceded a lot. It seems to go two ways. 1. Tight defence- but the football is boring/ non descriptive. Ala Robinson/Penny. 2. We score a lot, but concede more than we should. How can we improve at the back? Change of tactics? New additions in Jan? Or are people happy with the status quo- (as long as we win more than we lose)

You need to get better at this fishing lark, talk to Eyrsey he’s quite good on occasion.
