Takemeanywhere
Saturday 30 October: 1-3pm at Oldham Athletic Club shop So, he's at the club on City Legends day. He's a real 'legend' amongst the Citeh fans
oafcprozac
So, he's at the club on City Legends day. He's a real 'legend' amongst the Citeh fans Despite the fact he provided the most assists for them in 92/93 - including the one for Niall Quinn's winner at BP that year. Quinn himself called him the best crosser of the ball he'd played with. No mean feat. But because he didn't tear arse down the wing before whipping 'em in from the by-line the Citeh lot didn't rate him. Clueless!!!!* *Although it was clear to see his best days were (mostly) behind him when he returned to BP 14 months later...

JoeP
Bought my dad a signed copy for Christmas and he cant put it down! Same here. Unfortunately the detailed insider view of the the cup disappointments isn't resting any ghosts for me! Found his views on Graeme Sharpe interesting - think everyone knew that appointing Sharpe as manager was a big mistake from day one!
Dave_Og
Anyone else get this for Christmas? Just read Chapter 6 and unpicked all the scars from the 1993/94 season..... yep. Not reached there yet. Surprised how little 89/90 is mentioned. Can't decide whether I'm annoyed that so much talent was squandered in bars or pleased that footballers are relatively normal
losesome
Also got the book for xmas pressy , interesting in 1990 they played 65 games and RH played in 64 of them. Can you imagine the whimps at Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge doing that today , Sir Alex would have kittens !!!!!!!

lancy lad
Whats tricky Ricky doing these days? When I bought the book in Spindles, he was fronting the shop signing copies in a Barnsley tracksuit top??? Dont know if he still works for them or he's just a scruffy fecker? I would guess the latter

davemathieson
Whats tricky Ricky doing these days? Living in Peel on the IOM, drinking in the Whitestone pub there most days! He's a physio too. Was managing the local team until end of last season when he had a falling out with the club.
