Right decision to bring him off, possibly a little later than it needed to be. Think it will give jones a kick up the backside as well having him here. Wondered if it was viagra kicking in when he was taken off Yes I saw that he was signalling earlier about problems with his calfs. excellent today great touch and what I liked most is that he seemed to be thinking a pass ahead classic example being the interception and breakaway first half where he anticipated the pass intercepted and we nearly scored. Certainly offered something different today and no surprise he went off as he hasn't played 90 mins for about 6 months. Having seen his first performance against Plymouth...i'd hazard a guess that he was perhaps trying to hard to impress and managed to get himself sent off. Against Plymouth he was overly keen and overcomplicated things whereas today he was calm and assured - got the balance spot on. Just the fact that he's had so many clubs, i worry that he's one of those who impresses untill he lands a contract and then slopes into the background. Hope not, was awesome first half today!! Looks a quality player - some fantastic touches, turns and little passes Looked to me it was higher up, I think it was an abductor (the ones on the inside of your thigh which move the leg away from the midline). Probably was a bit of cramp, since he looked in pain, got better, the physio team tried to pump him full of fluid, which may have been a carbohydrate drink and presumably a salt tablet.
