Just short of 3,000 sold apparently

It's a shame we don't get 6000 to home games. We need to give away vouchers at Anfield for a cheaper ticket to bring in more fans for the next home game!

I think we may well see bigger crowds for the Christmas games, Holiday games added to the feel good factor, i'm hoping for decent turn outs...

Read on the 'marketing thread' that's on here about the idea of a questionnaire going out at Anfield, asking why people don't go anymore etc. I think this (bold above) makes more sense & is something the club could easily do.

There will surely be almost all of our season tickets holders there - so it's preaching to converted with us BUT, if they were able to get some vouchers or leaflets printed up and passed over to the turnstiles at Anfield, offering a reduced ticket price for a couple of home games, then hopefully some of the day trippers might, just might; be inclined to come to BP for some league games. Surely worth a try from the club?

I mean, in all honesty, when is the next chance the club is going to get to flier 6,000 people? and of those 6,000 - some will be the exact type of fans Corney et all constantly bang on about; lapsed ones. I hope the club uses the opportunity to get some info & offers their way.

Surely they don't need a questionaire to work that one out?

Why do it at anfield just have them at the ticket office when you buy your ticket.

it was me who did the marketing thread, what i said was to only give to those who buy the tickets when they go on general sale i.e to people who dont usually go, i agree pointless giving them to ST holders of course

I suggested that they give anyone who completes the questionaire £2 off the exeter game and the reason for that is that Exeter i imagine wont be a huge crowd and this is a chance of making more come along, thats a winnable game at home, turn in a great preformance and they may come back again

Can't see the point of a questionnaire. There will be at least a dozen reasons why people don't go anymore that the club can do absolutely nothing about.

Personally what I think we need to do is get some offer of tickets for Anfield dependant on being at a low crowd game before that 9before Xmas!!!)

Adn then we need something to get the names, emalils, phone, and addresses of as many people as possible.

Then, at least, we hve the makings of a data base, with the other info we have dotted around the place.

The email news letter is good, something to build on there.
