Ernie For England
Playing a song after we scored a goal at bp? Bit random I know, but just thinking I remember the days of "I feel good" being played after a john eyre screamer! Suppose it begs the question of do you think we should play a song after a goal and if so what song??
opinions4u
I don't think we should. I think the fans should get excited and then start singing something.

JonesyOAFC
Goal music is one of the worst things in football. We absolutely should not bring it back. I'm cringing just thinking about it.
Tommy_Fent
when was goal music introduced? I've always known it to be there yet a lot of supporters who are slightly older than me consider it a new thing. The worst thing about goal music is going away from home and getting a mullering and then hearing the same song everytime you conceed, so that everytime you hear that song again you think of that hammering you received at Vale Park/Bloomfield Road

JonesyOAFC
what exactly is your emoticon doing! It's supposed to be shaking its fist in anger, but it does look like it's doing... something else. But it's supposed to be an angry fist shake, just so we're clear. Tommy_Fent
Glad all over I didn't want to mention the title of the song as I hate it that much. I also remember loads of clubs playing Gary Glitter back in the day
SholverBlue
It's cringe worthy, plastic and modern. Not good. I never really noticed though, was too busy going :censored:ing mental.

Suppose it begs the question of do you think we should play a song after a goal and if so what song?? Didn't the club stop it because they had to pay "Performing Rights" fees for doing so. I seem to remember something along those lines, but I may be wrong or did Franny just take all his old CD's back???????????????? Ian G. rosa
Didn't the club stop it because they had to pay "Performing Rights" fees for doing so. I seem to remember something along those lines, but I may be wrong or did Franny just take all his old CD's back???????????????? Ian G. That was the reason given for stopping both the goal music (which I was never a fan of anyway) and for stopping playing Mouldy Old Dough as the teams ran out. I would assume we have to pay PRS fees for playing Fanfare for the Common Man as well though, so I'm not sure whether that was just an excuse. Roger Ritchie
We need to play some Grime so we can all put our trigger fingers up when we score.
