Playing a song after we scored a goal at bp? Bit random I know, but just thinking I remember the days of "I feel good" being played after a john eyre screamer! Suppose it begs the question of do you think we should play a song after a goal and if so what song??

when was goal music introduced? I've always known it to be there yet a lot of supporters who are slightly older than me consider it a new thing. The worst thing about goal music is going away from home and getting a mullering and then hearing the same song everytime you conceed, so that everytime you hear that song again you think of that hammering you received at Vale Park/Bloomfield Road

Didn't the club stop it because they had to pay "Performing Rights" fees for doing so.

I seem to remember something along those lines, but I may be wrong or did Franny just take all his old CD's back????????????????

That was the reason given for stopping both the goal music (which I was never a fan of anyway) and for stopping playing Mouldy Old Dough as the teams ran out. I would assume we have to pay PRS fees for playing Fanfare for the Common Man as well though, so I'm not sure whether that was just an excuse.
