I was cringing watching him play today and don't come on here and say he isn't a full back, he isn't a nothing no confidence, no pace, poor at set pieces decision making well don't get me started on that appealing for offside and standing still Time to let go for me.... Grounds has been so much better at CB than LB this season, so we've needed a LB. Mellor is the best bet of what we've got for that position ATM. After Rooney, I thought he was the poorest player on the field and has been one of our consistently poor performers. What Johnson sees in him, I'll never understand. Dive in and watch sterling drop the shoulder and run past him? As for the amount of time you claim he had in the first half....
