oafc_lover
Nowt wrong with a bit of self belief! He's got all the physical attributes needed to go on and realise his dream. It's up to him now to make it happen...
ChaddySmoker
I admire J C H for that choice, simply because he doesnt want to play for a n other country when he is English! Plus It avoids U21 call ups for friendlies etc when he should be working for us, exclusively!

lookersstandandy
It won't in this instance though. While the percentages would suggest you are probably right..... I think he should be encouraged and defeatism should be confined to silence. Good luck to the boy.....!
oafc-latics
It won't in this instance though. you'd have been laughed out of Stockport and Rochdale when Lambert played for them if you'd said he'd be going to a World Cup.

Twisbrogan
It won't in this instance though. Why not? He's strong, has pace, getting plenty of experience and still only 19. Impossible to say how he'll have developed in 2 years time. (Aren't Wolves already watching him?)

leeslover
If he gets 15 goals next season, gets signed by a decent second division side and has a good season he could have a chance of the next Euros. Not saying I see him ever maki g the full team but with 100 games beneath his belt I don't see the U21s as wildly out of reach or not worth aiming for. I'm glad he's backing himself
opinions4u
I was moaning that he hasn't developed as much as I'd have liked to see as we negotiated where to park near Valley Parade.

leeslover
Hope you are on the wind up with this one LL, usually have you marked down as one of the more sane members...I'm not convinced that he's going to be prolific but if something clicks in his head you never know. I think he's got more room for improvement than many just because there are things he obviously doesn't fully get at the moment
Vivache
Stranger things.... who's that the Mail thought would be playing upfront for us this year in Brazil? http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2013/12/02/sp-the-england-2014-team-mail-online-predicted-in-2007-where-are/
longtimeblue
It's testament to his belief in his own ability. He obviously considers himself an Englishman and hasn't jumped at the first sniff of a chance to play international football. Fair play, he should be commended whether he gets a chance or not. Either way, his confidence should bode well for us.

Now you see if that was me I'd be mentioning it every game since because I'm a strangely overly superstitious bloke Have you mentioned it since?
