Just been released by Blackburn, struggled to crack the first eleven at two championship clubs, loves the club, manager looking for wingers... We've got to at least try haven't we?

Was told yesterday by a close friend of his that he still has a contract offer from them, but would imagine it is on reduced terms from the £10,000 a week he has been on.

He does want to return to the club after another deal as the poster above has suggested on Championship wages elsewhere.

The feelings he has for the club are genuine by all accounts......which for a cynical fan like myself left me amazed!!

He'd be a great signing but unlikely cos of wage demands.

Which players have returned to the club and been as good or better second time round?

Just wondering.

Not a chance of Taylor coming back here. He'll get a Championship club easily.

As for struggling to get into the first eleven, admittedly he's been out of the picture at Blackburn recently but he's made 58 appearances in the two seasons he's been there and, after taking a while to get into Millwall's team initially, he was a regular when he left and they tried to keep him.

I think it's laughable that there are some on another thread saying they wouldn't have him back.

Here's one: Who would you rather have back, Baxter or Taylor?

Practically, to fit in the team, it'd be Taylor, but I'd love to see Jose put on the blue shirt again...

Can't we have both?

If not, Jose. I bloody loved him.

Baxter, Taylor and Harkins in the same team would be interesting.

No thanks. We have moved on since he played for us. Need younger and fitter players.

He isn't exactly getting on and what's wrong with his fitness?

Plus we haven't moved on. We are still in exactly the same place. He moved on and improved as a player at a higher level. If we get the opportunity to sign a player like Taylor we would be stupid to ignore it.

Although I believe you should never go back. Exceptions should be made
