Barry likes villains because they are fully committed - they have a plan, an ideology, no matter how twisted. They're motivated madmen, and he wants to collect them all! As soon as a bad-boy becomes available, we urge you, the Oldham Athletic community, to help Barry in his quest to bring every crook, thief, vagabond and con-artist, and build the ultimate scum shortlist.

NEW ENTRY!

Ricky Miller

Age:26

Club Status: Sacked by Luton Town

Availability: Probably, he's under investigation though.

What didn't he do, Gov? He didn't slap some giddy fan or a relative of a director in the chops at the Hatters' end of season awards.

Scum rating out of five stars: *

Probably not bad enough, although he's one for the future.

HATTON GARDEN CREW

uPkYSqs.jpg

Club Status: 9 potential targets in custody, your honour.
Availability: Absolutely none whatsoever. After this last trip down the Old Bailey, some of these will be brown bread.
Match chemistry: 442 in a diamond formation.
Avoid. Sunday League substitutes the lot of them, but they can't half shift some moody gold. Bags of experience but no match action, and I wouldn't trust them near the silverware. Maybe the silverware doesn't matter.

Sorry to go off topic but I am disappointed at the lack of the use of the word "caper" when the Hatton Garden job has been mentioned.

I see it more as, "a spectacular heist."

A load of rich people got some expensive jewels they clearly didn't need stolen (which are insured by the bank), the blokes that did it will nearly all die in prison. IF they had stolen the same amount by fraud they would get 3 years each.

Although much of it was uninsured and owned by traders for whom it was their stock in trade rather than their property. Meanwhile in your socialist utopia.....

If a trader cannot insure his trading stock and assets then perhaps he shouldnt be a Capitalist

The whole point of capitalism is risk taking. In this case the cheapo insurance premium which they paid was whatever fee the safe deposit comapny charged rather than the presumably larger one which insurance companies would have wanted. They thought that woudl be adequate risk mitigation but clearly that proved an incorrect judgement. Doesn't mean though that they were rich people losing their baubles; I suspect they are kept in safe deposits in more salubrious areas than Hatton Garden.

I listened to an interview with an insurance broker shortly after the raid. He said that the insurance premium for assets worth £1million in a safe deposit box would be no more than £1,500.

I don't have much time for anyone not getting insurance at such a low percentage of the value of the assets.

It gets slightly more complex if it's £1million of anyone's particular brand of ill-gotten gains :clint:

Although I would bet that lots of insurance companies would be happy to take premiums, until it came to paying out anyway.

Do you think we'd get away with calling it HMP SportsDrect.comPark and keep the sponsorship money, or would the Prison Service insist on HMP Boundary Park do you think?

Breaking news....3 Leicester players will be signing very soon.

Them three Leicester players have been released for racism surely on our radar

What do they say about things said in jest?

It was confirmed by my source that we did try and sign Scunny's #22 Tom Hooper who was one of the players involved in the summer but Inge didn't work out
