opinions4u
Where will the future income/profit from the new stand be going? Would you boycott the new stand if it was found all profits where not going back into the club? Why would the companies in that stand give all their profits to the club? losesome
We will never know but i wondered if we approached Brentford about selling the clause or did they approach us !!!!! If they approached us then i would find it staggering that we would accept it !!!

oafcmetty
Assuming this is now true, you have to call into question the competence of those running the club now. Only now?

real
Why would the companies in that stand give all their profits to the club? What benefit is there to the club if the revenue hasn't increased? How much scope is there for "non-club" businesses to take a greater share of revenue and leave the club only covering its costs or even making a loss? Hank Kingsley
Assuming this is now true, you have to call into question the competence of those running the club now. I'm not and never have been a Corney out merchant, I remember Moore for god's sake. But this is the second big call on sell on clauses and the second time they've got it wrong. If they couldn't see the difference between the Richards case (earning a fortune for doing nothing at one of the richest clubs in the world) and the Tarkowski one (Young improving player playing for a relatively small club 200 miles from where he wanted to be) then they really need to question their ongoing ability to lead this football club. It's not their competence I'm questioning it's their integrity.

Indeed so we have helped to fund a new stand which has took us down, so is it unreasonable to ask where any income/profits will be going from the new stand? If found that it is not going back into the club would fans tolerate this?
oafcmetty
Anyway, which of you twats decided that the thing that the club really needed at this time was a :censored:ing scoreboard. Learn to :censored:ing count or, if you're struggling, ask the :censored:er next to you. If we can sell advertising space on it, I'm all for it

ChaddySmoker
Why did we have them then? Apologies in advace if it is a silly question. The adverts were administered through a third party advertising agency. It would have been a good idea to use experts in that field who would incur staffing costs and overheads in that respect. It would have been an even better idea if the third party had ever passed across any money to OAFC.
