MAC0AFC
171 latics fans, God knows why they bother. 0-0. Lose on penalties. What sort of competition goes straight to penalties after a draw???

the_mighty_bosh
Poleon and/or Murphy instead please. Give them a chance. I'd agree with this but the transfer window closes two hours before the game, so if we want new players in we'd have to ship players out before kick off. GlossopLatic
Good chance to excercise the squad Dunn, Forte, Croft put your feet up and get ready for Saturday. Poleon, Murphy, Green go earn yourselves a starting spot.
Lee Sinnott
Is it still the case that you can't make too many changes from your "regular" side, whatever that may be? Remember Sheffield making a mockery of it a few years ago by subbing players in the first half...
josh_latics
Is it still the case that you can't make too many changes from your "regular" side, whatever that may be? Remember Sheffield making a mockery of it a few years ago by subbing players in the first half... Think it's something like 6 regulars have to play. Wilson, Mills, Brown, Jones, Dieng, Croft? EDIT: Philliskirk will play, too. He loves the cups. Edited August 31, 2015 by josh_latics

Remember Sheffield making a mockery of it a few years ago by subbing players in the first half...Yep, you need to pick a certain percentage, 6/11 starters, of players that played the previous match, play the next match or have played the most in the season.Wednesday changed their GK after a minute a few years ago, they possibly had made their substitutions by 15 minutes. I can see Forte being rested, especially as Stan won't be playing on Saturday. Edmundson may get a game, he may also pick Cornell

josh_latics
Coleman * Brown * Wilson * Edmundson Truelove Winchester Jones * Philliskirk * Yeates Turner * Murphy Reckon Cornell will play, and can't see both Edmundson and Truelove in the same defence. Also, Poleon must be higher up in the pecking order than Murphy now.
leeslover
Coleman * Brown * Wilson * Edmundson Truelove Winchester Jones * Philliskirk * Yeates Turner * Murphy Other keeper and Yeates are bound to play. Edmundson as well I'd hope. If Winiesta hasn't been sold and doesn't start I'm worried
