Londonboy Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Usually go to Walsall with my young lad and they used to do a family ticket bought on the day for an adult and junior for about £22. Does anyone know if they still do this as can't find any info on their website. Also how many do you recon we will take? Took a great following first away game a couple of years ago...
Dave_Og Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Don't suppose anyone can bring me the happy news that the drum is no more/will be used less? After Southend last year I'm prertty sure I don;t want to spend an afternoon in close proximity to that untuned racket again - not that tuning it would be a solution!
mcfluff1985 Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Drum will be there. As will those singing Courtney, Courtney over and over and over to the tune of Heartbeat. Possibly our worst ever song?
4oakslatic Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Walsall are making big cut backs, I suspect cheap tickets for kids / families are a thing of the past.

That was for the first game of the season tho, there's always extra excitement for that.

Monty Burns Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 I don't disagree. Easiest away ground to find without a satnav too!!

It's £16 and leaves at 11:30.. We have been allocated an initial 600 tickets, but the stand holds 2000.
Andy-latic Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 Cotton clouds festival in sunny Saddleworth that weekend instead, first away will have to be Blackpool
aaronoafc Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Be gone in no time these when we rinse Oxford 4-0
DerbyshireLatic Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 In answer to the original post - I've done the same in recent years, just checked with our ticket office and that offer is still on for tickets bought on the day from the Walsall ticket office...saves a fair bit for people taking kids with them, queues have been small in the past and it's less than 200 yards from the entrance to the Saddlers Club!
TheBigDog Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 https://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/news/2017/july/26072017-walsall-ticket-news/ save a couple of quid if bought in advance. Also senior price (£15.50) if your over 60...
Londonboy Posted August 7, 2017 Author Posted August 7, 2017 Cheers Derbyshirelatic...will get on the day from Walsall ?

HarryBosch Posted August 8, 2017 Posted August 8, 2017 In traditional OWTB fashion "a lot of people will go to Cotton Clouds Festival instead...." (about 12 of us)
