Difficult to complain about the Abdallah signings if you're responsible for bringing in Benyu, Pringle and McEleney.

It's funny looking back at comments that Shez had to go because of his refusal to play Placide, whom he didn't rate.  And Placide turned out to be a bit shit after all.

He was a whole lot less shit than the 2 clowns Shez did play

Have we now reached the consensus that McEleney is shit?

You must have watched him a hell of a lot in Ireland to make a statement like that. I prefer to give someone a dozen or so games before completely dismissing their competence.

I've seen him playing for us.

Cant say Ive been that impressed but with a full pre season behind him and givem the right direction he could be a very good player in league 2 next season.

Im also not writing off Jonny as shit either. Not as gpod as Connor Ripley but neither is he that bad.

It doesnt take as much tweaking as some people think 6-7 signings can transform any team.

He had plenty of time to impose himself, but failed to do so.

We shouldn't have to make 6-7 signings, unless we lose 6-7 of our regular first teamers (loanees aside).

Even the likes of Banks, Green and Clarke have shown that they still have enough quality to be good enough for a League 2 promotion push next season.

We have to replace the players we are inevitably going to lose (unless they barely featured for us).

The players we have then have to realise that they don't have a God given right to go straight back up. They actually need to work hard and be a team. No matter the players we have in August/September if they don't work hard and are a cohesive unit then the 20-25/1 for us to go down looks good value.

We get rid of atleast 6-7 every summer. Infact our turnover of players is usually higher than that and it probably will be again this year

The 3 you have listed rude will all likely go plus wilson. Their is 4 wages saved straight away Fane has probably played his last game for the club and if Lemsagam has a single brain cell in his head he will fuck omrani and maouche right off. Thats 7 plus all the loan players too thats a substantial saving. You bring the right players in to replace them you breath completely new life into the club.

We don't need to replace Omrani or Maouche, they barely played for us, that has been part of the problem.

I wouldn't be surprised if we kept one of the players we sent out on loan this season.

I suppose they could be sent on loan to French clubs rather than terminate their hefty contracts.

You didnt seriously think I was suggesting replace them with 2 more players on big wages who barely play did you? :)

Spending 13 million on one player must of made it a tough job......

They’ve paid out considerable money in transfer fees but I read in an article the other day that they have a ceiling wage of 20k a week. That is very low for a top Championship club. As a comparison Villa pay out over 2 million p/w with their best players on over 80k p/w...

He’s produced the best team in the history of the second-tier. Admittedly it wasn’t on a shoestring but there will be multiple other clubs in the Championship with budgets will eclipse that of Wolves’.
