The game ends 3-3. Into extra time. An extra 30 minutes though… there’s going to be some very tired young lads out there! Great goal by Atkinson for Latics 3-4! Simms for us could have had a couple more and Kilmer at the back looked tidy. I thought one or two of the Carlisle lads looked good too - Watts and Carr stood out. Thoroughly enjoyable contest. Carlisle's lads looked older and bigger, I think half of the Latics youths were 1st year intakes. I wonder if Chapman is related to Les and Kilner to Andy?
