good show. fan guest proposed a new Gaffer and then spent a couple of minutes absolutely destroying the prospect with valid points!!

two blokes with knowlege having a discussion, enjoyed it.

Daves bit at the end was good too.

Another good listen, the fan guest Simon came across really well.

Yeah I thought that. It mainly mirrored my thoughts on the situation.

I don't think Neal Eardley will be heading into after-dinner speaking any time soon mind.

I think you are supposed to preface that with "BLOODY EARDLEY" mate.  At least that's what the Main Stand used to do...

Always amazed me the amount of stick he got compared with the left back (Chris Makin?)as he took the ball out 5 times more than him and always tried to move forwards.

Shows what they knew when he stepped up 2 divisions.

yep. and when you highlight this to them they say 'well he never did that for us' even if he did. repeatedly.

suprised he sounds to view the club so fondly, he certainly was not complintary about the fans when l said to him 'Oldham fans are knobeads arent they?'

tbf we were in Tokyos at the time.

Interesting point from Matt about Kitching. I thought the same when he took a knock - he's probably the only player we can't replace...

Dickinson can play left back.

If you mean playing Couto in midfield he's got one goal in three years as opposed to five in ten or eleven games for Dickenson.

Dickenson can do a job at left back

Dickenson and Tollitt on the left could be interesting if we were ever missing Kitching.

If Dickenson had to play left back in Kitchimg’s absence I’d prefer Hope to Tollit at left wing to cover defensively.
