Results over say the last 5 years says they are. They've also won trophies in their history

Aberdeen are not the second team in Scotland. That’s a ludicrous thing to say. They are a VERY distant 3rd.

Not on crowd size, but on recent results they clearly are. Obviously Hearts come into play if you're talking longer term silverware.

Are you forgetting what happened to Rangers  deliberately?

Barmy assertion you have made. Properly barmy.

He's saying new Rangers != old Rangers

I'd bite your hand off for our version of the Petrofac Cup.

Don’t be ridiculous.  (The ‘new’ Rangers is still a bigger club. Farrrrr bigger.)

Bigger crisis loans, bigger stadium with bigger pieces of the roof liable to fall onto supporters heads, bigger trophy cabinet with nothing in it that they won. They've done ever so well, but Kilmarnock are a bigger club

Rangers are a far bigger club than Aberdeen but in fairness to Aberdeen, they've taken full advantage of Rangers fall from grace in keeping their seat warm.

Back down to third now!

Rangers didn't have a fall from grace. A) they were never in grace and B) something that doesn't exist can't fall. Rangers weren't relegated, they stopped being. "The Rangers," who play at Ibrox, are a new club. As I say, they've done very well.
