  1. Sorry i wasn't aware of that. I'm away on holliday and had to resort to i(tryto)follow Latics but it's toss and went off in about the 70th min. Had to resort to watching the bet365 inplay thing which goes along the lines of Oldham dangerous attack, Shrewsbury in posseion, Shrewsbury attack, Oldham in possesion. Lol. How long did he get, how did he do?
  2. To me it looks like shez is being a little stubborn. Yes he has played Gervaro but i think that is because he has no other real option. I say this as he hasn't given any of the others a single minute. Menig for example should surely have made an apperence from the bench at least. He's tricky, dynamic has a great first touch and turnd defenders as well as having an eye for goal. This reluctance to use his squad may ultimately cost him his job.
  3. Only if they can prove Lesmagen has been directly involved in contract negotiations or directly involved in signing players from what I can see. There will be ways round that.
  4. It's as simple as this for me. If Shez has to go to enable us to get investment and actually compete rather than the circle of uncertainty we keep going round in then fine. Shez leaving to go to county was beneficial to him as he got massive wages, it was beneficial to Corney and the club as they got a decent fee for him. So what's the difference now? If it's going to help the club it has to be done Shez will do alright as he will have to be paid off and will get another job.
  5. He said in tonight's paper Ripley coming in was dead over a week ago.
  6. Fanes natural game is going forward, he looks at his best when he picks the ball up just inside his own half then goes on one of them runs leaving the opposition on their backsides. Robinson nearly ruined him last season by stopping him doing that. He looks a lot better player when he has the freedom to get forward. That's just my opinion of course.
  7. I'm not saying that. I'm wondering if the club somehow think it is the way forward. We appointed a backroom coaching team last season to work with assistantless Robinson through pre season, Barraclough was then appointed on the 29th of July as assistant and the backroom team was dispersed of and never replaced.
  8. Could it be that this pre season will be the same as last (backroom staff wise)except this time the club are just being honest instead of making dicks of themselves like they did last year. Rember last year all the strong coaching team stuff that was spouted only for said team to be broken up once the season got underway(Turnbull, O Driscoll, Shirtliff etc). This way people know what's happening and won't be disappointed when they either move on or become part time.
  9. He looks clumsy and just plain weird playing football but it doesn't matter when you can occupy both centre halfs and create acres of space for everyone else on the edge of the oppositions box.
  10. I thought he had got it wrong at the time when he made the change. However as ngoo was blowing out of his arse after just 20 minutes it was probably right not to bring him on with 70 left.
  11. The ref was a homer of the highest order to say the least. In fact you could say he was a cheat.
  12. We've got Clarke and Gerrard Clarke and Gerrard Clarke wanted to leave And Gerrard is hard ???
  13. I like Clarke, strong, battler, wears his heart on his sleeve and i would like him to stay. However he does make mistakes that lead to goals quite regularly, fans just seem to turn a blind eye to it because it's Peter Clarke. I would like him to stay but if he goes and we reinvest in midfielders with some guile and craft i will be happy with that. I'm now sat waiting for pelters.
  14. When the club announced the cut price tickets, they also announced it was cut price up until the Gillingham game. Can't really blame the club for fans not taking notice of the information they have already provided.
  15. I'm a season ticket holder and have been for over 20 years. I say fair play to the club. I'd rather see the place bouncing with non paying fans than the usual drab atmosphere we get on a Tuesday night.
  16. I'm going down with my old man. To say it was hard work going to home games that we had already paid for that is some turnaround really.
  17. Because Sheridan knew they wanted him and he wanted to go. Just the same as West Ham with Payet. It's unproductive to keep staff who don't want to work for you.
  18. I didn't want Shez back. Just listened to his interview, i'm glad Shez is back.?
  19. It's either a wind up or Steve Robinson spilling the beans.?
  20. Sorry but Shez is not for me, give him another go and he does o.k off he goes to the first club that comes calling and we are back to square 1. I used to love Shez, i don't even like the bloke any more.
  21. I remember that to. It started in the main stand upper. The bloke was giving him pelters on the way out. Corney appeared out of that blue door in the main stand stairwell and gripped the bloke and looked like he was about to smack him one.
  22. To be fair is that not how Corney operates? He doesn't seem to like comunicating with anybody unless he's asking for money.
