  1. This. I've met Dean several times away from BP. He lives round the corner from me and is an old school friend of my younger brother's. He's a thoroughly nice bloke. He's also a very experienced pro and former club captain. Other than TP (who i'm presuming didn't fancy it) I don't see a better option from within the club, seeing as Tommy's left as well. As a short term measure, and rather than rush into appointing a new manager, I really don't see the problem. Our current predicament is of Lee Johnson's making, not Dean Holden's.
  2. I don't blame Tommy for a minute for going as well, would no doubt be out on his arse when the new man comes in and brings his own assistant with him, leaving him unemployed. LJ however is a :censored:ing snake.
  3. At £2.80p a pop, the only place my pie is going is in my gob. And if only they still did chicken balti pies. They were outstanding.
  4. Either that or he'd sell his heart and lungs if someone wafted a £5 note anywhere near him .
  5. It'd be like banging my best mate's wife. Wrong but I wouldn't mind trying it.
  6. I really don't get all this "most talented player in the squad", "there's definately a player in there" guff. On the whole, he was utterly crap. Totally ineffective, toothless, and couldn't cross a bridge.
  7. I sincerely hope not. I'm in Dublin from 15th - 18th, intentionally booked it when there were no home games...
  8. I'm very grateful for what he's done for my club financially but, otherwise, i'm with you two.
  9. Montano was crap. Dayton is also crap. How about we just look elsewhere and have done with it?
  10. Have you never said anything that's come out not quite how you intended? Ever?
  11. I'll be there tomorrow, as will the Old Man. Never in doubt, Evans or no Evans. I fully expect a dire 0 v 1 reverse though.
  12. So you'd rather be in the basement division than the Premier League? You need to see somebody.
  13. Just a bit. That's exactly what he's been doing anyway so he might as well go the whole hog.
  14. This. No way. Although I might refuse to ever visit Wales again in protest.
  15. That's exactly where i'm at Aaron, couldn't agree more. Players, good and bad, come and go. One man won't stop me watching the team I love. I've barely missed a home game in the last 25 years and i'm not going to start now. Would I consider cancelling my trip to Wembley in July and sending AC/DC their tickets back because the drummer Phil Rudd has been charged with some potentially serious offences? Would I :censored:.
  16. I don't think you're a knob who needs banning Westy. Just don't sit directly behind me next time we play at Anfield ha ha. Or Gillingham.
  17. Have you had a sense of humour bypass or something? And unless he's going to :censored:ing dig them both up, no he didn't eat my nan.
  18. That'd be funny as :censored:. If he does it, we should have a whip round on here and help him pay his fine.
  19. I don't think we played anywhere near as well as we can today but we won 3 v 0. If your solution is to drop the guy who scored 2 of our goals, or the guy who set up all 3, I despair.
