On the face of it, this seems like a decent signing. There'll be a lot on here who saw more of us than I did last season but I can't remember many clamouring for his signing?
Someone hears something, they post it. Might turn out to be bullshit, might not. Hardly inconceivable that heard we were in for him. Still hoping something happens on that front.
Trickled through his legs?
You'd have thought we'd been beaten by the 1970 Brazil team the way we went on about Southampton after that game (they were good to be fair). Didn't even win the league did they?
Can't speak for everyone but it comforts me knowing the Athleticos have got our backs in the war against terror. Manchester feels that bit safer this morning.
Give over. Cureton would've given 2/3 good seasons from 35 onwards. Lambert was scoring goals in the Prem a couple of years ago... Please let the Baxter thing be true though. I'd consider a belated season ticket in all honesty.
Sun's out. Decided this will be my (almost) 3 year old daughter's first game. Anyone know of any pubs close to the ground that have an outdoor play area?
I'm not on Twitter but after that 'amazing signing' tweet was posted on here yesterday, I had a look through some historic tweets by the same person. The same person tweeted that Harbin was coming back about a week ago... Seems to have some insight.
I was only a young kid but I remember the atmosphere in the Clayton Arms after beating Leeds at home (think it was 2-0 in the first Premier League season) was pretty buoyant to say the least.
