I used to work in Cyprus and we all used to play 11 a side once a week. One day a group of blokes turned up on mopeds and asked us for a game to which we obliged. They then lifted the seats and pulled out their moulded boots and cones/markers. And proceeded to "warm up" in 100 degrees!!! Upon closer inspection we found that it was Lloyd doyley and half of his pals from Watford just after they got relegated! On their pre season hols! There was 26 of us doing rolling subs against about 9/10 of them and they annihilated us.

Nah, we didn't miss it. Imagine if things would have gone 'right' we would no doubt be playing in a four sided stadium with bigger crowds but we wouldn't have away days like tomorrow at Crewe where the atmosphere will be rocking!!! We would just have fans that still moan at everything but just on a bigger scale!

But to be fair though... My mate bought a car off eBay with a price that was too good to be true, (£1000, from Swindon as well) it run like a dream for the trip back up the motorway and within three weeks it didn't work! He then couldn't even sell it for half the price as it was a duffer so scrapped it. It's not just footballers who look good on paper. Moral of the story, never buy anything from Swindon!!!!!!!
