    Fair point. Perhaps he'd be better in the National League with Tranmere. There wasn't a single drug test in 15/16 in the National League. 16/17 figures unknown to me.

    I imagine someone who has failed two tests in the last two seasons (two different drugs btw) will have the drug testers at the door every single week.

    EPPP, England DNA, it's all a load of bollocks. There's a room at St George's Park with a clock counting down to the 2022 World Cup Final. I've been reading Michael Calvin's latest book and he spends time with Dan Ashworth the FA Director of Elite Development. Ashworth says it's shame clubs like City can't buy a club like Oldham, Bury and Rochdale to farm players out. Stop taking so many and we could just be playing them every week anyway.

    I'd agree he isn't the player he was. Not from what we have seen but a downward slope to oblivion after he left us is a bit much. Four seasons in the Championship and two Wembley appearances playing for Millwall and Blackburn he did alright for himself. We've had plenty before who'd love a similar downward slope.

    Wigan were gone that long they'd forgotten about us. Fans of Wigan in their early 20's would have just about remembered playing us. Probably take a while to reignite that one.

    Full time after the 2-2 at Sheffield Wednesday and he approached the away end kissing the badge. Fairly sure he smashed a free kick on to the Chaddy End roof on his debut as well. Memorable.

    Quite content myself to see us replicate what we've seen under Sheridan in 2016 and 2017 over the course of a season. it's very effective and we win games. Despite his claims I don't think we'll stray too far from this approach.

    Yet a fairly recent example would be loaning Rasulo from MK just months after our lot battered his side in the national final. Makes little sense but then it was under Dunn.
