    How did Ryan Colclough do?

He was tidy enough, Conn Clark was the standout for me with his movement and use of ball.

Nuttall didn’t stand out for me but Scunthorpe play very similar to Sheridan team with lots of sideways passing and then launch it forward, maybe Unsworth will have a different approach, but Bromley game would have shown Unsworth that midfield is key and players that that are comfortable on the ball which is something we lack especially when Gardner isn’t in the team

Nuttall had a bad time with us and the crowd got on his back, which didn't help. But I always thought he could do well in the right system. He's been scoring goals at a team that looks as thought it is sliding straight through. In fact, if they are letting him go it makes you wonder whether they are already throwing in the towel.

Was at Altrincham v Scunthorpe and Nuttall scored a penalty but didn’t stand out, though he’s a big unit, Alty’s Conn Clark looked a good player though

  3. Sefil did well first half when Blackburn were quite static in attack, when they changed it up in the second half he struggled.

to be fair to the lad he was the one player encouraging the team and showing some leadership when we conceded, unfortunately his positional play near the end was abysmal but the whole team looked on their arse they’d put one hell of a shift in which was a good sign.

maoche did ok, it’s just frustrating that he can do a bit at a decent stadium or on TV but a wet Saturday against Crewe he’s nowhere to be seen.

i hope we can bring same level of performance to valley parade on Saturday

3pm but think it may have been a new year game. Wright (2) Bunn, Flynn & I think the other was an OG

Yeah was New Year’s Day game, away at Sheffield United. Won 5-0, Flynn scored a looping header from edge of area in front of away end and remember someone chipping keeper, blades manager had been sacked by time we got back to car at 5.10pm!

One of my favourites was Birmingham  away march 88 won 3-1 Ritchie got  2 and I got pissed wet through in open away end at St Andrews which was a shit hole inside and outside stadium

My stance is exactly the same - as is the rest of my families, we won't step foot or part with a penny towards the club until the clowns gone, it's the only way you'll smoke his kind out because he's effectively a bullshitter whose trying to firefight his way through shit storm after shit storm and the majority of it is his own making.

He's already come out after last season and admitted he'd made mistakes, offered to change his ways and adopt a new approach, guess what it was bullshit and it was what he needed to say at the time to get himself out of a sticky situation where he was being chastised by ex managers and players as well as the press and the evidence was stacking up against him without definitive proof.

We've been  here before though haven't we - I was called out by Corney but refused to be fed bullshit by the bellend and it was used as a stick to bash me at the time with many on here siding with the fraud and let's not forget how Corney continued to have 90% of people's pants down right till the end whilst continuing to run the club as an after thought in a manor that only suited himself, I really don't have the stomach to argue with those again who can't see the wood for the trees and continue to turn up parting with hard earned and effectively endorsing this bell ends behaviour, of course that's a choice but for me I refuse to be party to it and will not return until there is fundamental change in the way our football club is run.

I applaud those prepared to make a stance, personally I don't have the stomach for it anymore, I had fresh optimism on the back of a slither of hope when Abdallah rocked up but somehow this fool is managing to trump even Corney in every conceivable way.

    I'm done.

My sentiments exactly, well worded 👏

  6. Agree that we were well beaten today, the owner needs to stay away from recruitment and let scholes chose his own players.

The squad needs a complete overall and Maoche just doesn't do enough he's a luxury we can ill afford. Banger Egone flatters to deceive and Nepo is more effective as a left winger than a left back.

Baxter is our best player and the team needs building around him, just need to understand what his best position is, I think a 10, linking the play and using his ability in and around the box. Need mobility upfront as Surridge and Lang have shown, wouldn't mind Richie Bennett who looked decent for Morecambe and is one of our own too.

The defence looks very suspect and it's the 3rd game running we've conceded a very late goal which says a lot about concentration and fitness levels, thought we looked absolutely knackered as soon as second half started.

The squad is very thin and imbalanced, personally wouldn't mind some of the youth players being given a chance, get them blooded and let's see if there's gem in there.

Maybe next year without interference and scholes coaching we'll be up there challenging.

Just  thinking, normally if a manger does well he is poached. However Scholes really didn’t need to start here and not in it for the money. unlike most managers if a chance came for a club that pays more Or a little  further up the football pyramid, He may want to stay and finish the job he started.

The only team he would leave latics for is United, IMO,

if that happens it means he’s done a magical job with us and we are way above league two
