  1. Mmmm. Not good a good feeling about tmora myself. Hope I’m wrong.
  2. Yeah, that’s fair. I think people are a bit blinded to fact he’s been invisible for so long. There’s a sense of ‘we must be desperate if we’re playing him’ when in fact you look past that- he’s been decent to be honest As you, I and others have said, let’s see if he can produce with a good run. He won’t be first to come in from the cold, and suddenly show people he’s a player.
  3. Any player needs a run. An for whatever reason he hasn’t had one, but it’s naive to suggest that fickle football fans don’t make judgements on players. We’ve judged players before we’ve even seen them play- let alone 20 minutes here and there.
  4. I don’t get why people are conflating the issue. He’s been here for 15 months, and hardly featured. Which I’ve said before it’s puzzling. However he’s now in the team, and starting to show a bit. Which is pleasing. Comparing him to others is a moot point. He wasn’t catching. Now he is. Let’s see if he can produce with a good run games, hopefully he does.
  5. Ahhh. . . The foe. Yeah it works better than fall. I probably say that in future.
  6. When singing Keep the blue flag flying high I still to this day don’t know one bit properly. So i sing- We’ll keep the blue flag flying high, flying high up in the sky, WE’ll FACE THE FALL WHEREVER WE GO. (Wtf does that even mean???) We’ll keep the blue flag flying high. Every time I know it’s wrong. I hate myself.
  7. That sounds like a group of posh boys in the sponsors lounge, quaffing champagne. . We score. . Oh bloody marvellous, up the football! (Grabs his drink) Here we go!
  8. With the good little run we’re on, and Fulham struggling. I’m starting to think we’ve a sniff of an upset. (Puts the wine down)
  9. Isn’t that the way it should be. Indifferent against good sides- but beat the sides you ‘should’ beat. Id rather that, than a heroic performance against top of the league- only to lose 1-0 against second from bottom.
  10. I didn’t even think they got ten minutes. We usually write players off before we’ve seen them play.
  11. Yeah, that’s fair. I wish we didn’t have to think about money as much, but as you say it’s a sign of the times. Although my intial question about being on TV was with additions in jan in mind, rather than paying the gas bill on time. (Probably naively) Plus as good as the big day out is, I’d much rather promotion or overall upward curve for the club. But I get not everybody will feel the same.
  12. What’s odd about wanting the club to have as much income as possible? Don’t we all want that, AND a good day out?
  13. If the remit is still to follow the small clubs. I can only see two better games than us. Palace v Grimsby is on a par with us. Having said that we’ve already been shown, so I accept it’s doubtful.
  14. No tie is unwinnable. But it it would be a big shock, whatever side they put out, no?
  15. Fulham. Nice. Could of been a lot worse. Money wise I mean, not chance of progression.
  16. It’s nearly half 2. Tempted to go all shuck on Bunn. . But I won’t. What I will say is, that was a big, big, win today. For him and the club. A few mentioned the upturn since Rhodes left- maybe’s it’s just coincidence. Maybe AL saw something he didn’t like- Who knows. The up shot is we’re 6 unbeaten, on a nice little run, with a bit more positive football. Who knows where it might take us. . Probably 12th. Night.
