Leeds fan's were in there and cheered when they scored, everyone around them went mad and they got kicked out with presumably a few bruises on their way out. It's their own fault, it's not as if Leeds had sold out.

Proper scum they were just making a show that they were Leeds and wanted a reaction. They got it and got chucked out.......

Don't know why they did that when there was nearly a whole section of the small rre with spaces in it. Must be Leeds thinking there "untouchable" when they're just scummy people who are complete

Presumably they didn't want to pay all that money to bates for the privilege of buying away tickets, which i can kind of empathise with. Still their own fault though. The ones ejected from the main stand upper might have a few bruises tomorrow after what i saw.

Mind you, most of the gone-wrongs from the RRE were in the main stand lower and slapped a couple on their way out.

One bloke in the main stand upper hurdled 2 rows of seats to kung fu kick one of them while they were being 'escorted' out. He was very lucky not to get thrown out himself.

There were definitely some removed from upper, couldn't see lower from where i was.

I was in lower, they all jumped up about 8 or 10 of them. They got some stick and then the police moved in but stewards were fookin useless. My brother saw a Leeds scummer spit at a Latics fan on way out. We was telling them to go and sh*g their sisters to their annoyance and then they were removed for their own safety me reckons. They obviously wanted grief or on entrance would surely have asked to be put in with the rest of the inbreds with all those empty seat. None of them were kids or scallies, proper lads wearing very expensive gear so to look the part.............. tossers.

Leeds fan in Upper sction of main stand was on row in front of me and was with some mates who were Tics, so maybe explains why he was there (although if it had been me I'd have asked a steward to take me to be with own fans). He made some pro-Leeds noises during the game but locals only got hot under the collar when he celebrated the equaliser. Steward moved in quickly and yes some fans tried to give him a kick and one bloke spat in his face (so in some strange world that perhaps cancels out the reverse spitting from the Leeds fan in the lower section!).

All in all it added to the relative excitment of the second half after the nullfying tedium of the first.

I live in Leeds and the locals appear to think on general it was pretty even but still have a blinkered view and it helps being at work knowing that we haven't lost to them this season. Of course if we could beat them at Wembley.....

Am I the only one that finds the actions of the Latics fans in these scenarios disgraceful. Nigh on Stockportesque. What the hell happened to your fellow football fan?

:disappointed:

If you go in the away end its an un written rule you keep it zipped for your own safety was in the main stand upper when one leeds fan got chucked out they scored and got spat on on the way out not condoning the action of spitting on anyone but the said leeds fan did himself no favours.

I agree to an extent. But there is a hell of a difference between getting someone thrown out and spitting/karate kicking them.

Personally I have no problem with them being in our end. The reasons behind it are financial, but really, what have they done?

Sorry, but this isn't how I was brought up to treat someone else. Ever.

I saw that, the Leeds fan did himself no favours but I didn't think he expected such a reaction from the main stand.

Agree 100% OS

We debated on here for days after the S/Port incident, how could it happen?, who was to blame?, but one thing we all agreed on

was that the s/port fans involved were out of order.

A fan celebrating his team scoring a goal (in whatever stand) should not result in him being punched, kicked and spat at.

I watch my fair share of non-league footie and part of the enjoyment of the day is having light hearted banter with the opposition fans.

I really despair at the actions of some supporters.....

Where does it end? Drinking in a pub? Walking down a street? Watching a football match? Watching a football match, for God's sake.

Sorry but the disgraceful actions of these miscreants is not on. The club should find out who they are. Have them arrested for assualt, which is what it is, and ban them for life. This sort we do not need, ever.

And we should all go off and have a picnic dring lashings of ginger ale................ Wake up pal its been going on for years. Next time we play at Elland Road I dare you to stand and happy clap one of our goals and see how friendly the locals welcome you to their way of thinking. You are missing the point they came in our end for a scrap or at least to let us know that they are there so they can ruffle feathers. Its different to Stockport by the fact that they had an extra 1,500 seat with their own fans they could have sat in.

Exactly..lets get summat straight, i do not class myself as a football hooligan. but at the same time if a fan wasnt to come in my end shoutin his mouth off, he will get exactly what he's lookin for, I will defend my team, my end, and my honour. now if a genuin fan wanted to come in our end cos it aint full and theres is, i would sit next to him and share his/her views over a brew. its easy to condemn football violence if you havnt been on the recieving end,,,,hope it never happens Mr World, but lets see if you are as forgiving or understanding when its one of your own lieing in a hospital bed!

We all know why they did it. It was because they are charged for away games by Bates.

It is not acceptable to try and kick someones head in for cheering a goal at Oldham, Leeds or Stockport.

Calling it a scrap, scrape, rumble, whatever does not change the fact it is assault. They should be arrested, jailed, banned and are not welcome. They are nothing short of scum.

Maybe I live in fantasy land, but unless someone (nigh on all of us) makes a stand nothing will change. If we want to be treated as human beings we have to act like them. Until then, we will be penned in and treated like animals.

Will someone please stop mistaking me for Sheridans_World.

I've seen football violence. I've not been on the end of it yet. Surely this is the wrong argument to persuade me.

We should make it our duty to get violent, racist and homophobic people out of our game. Until then we will not get what we want. Standing and drinking stadiums where good natured banter takes place.

Dreamland. Maybe. But it is a dream I would love to see rather than the current (and past) awful situation - with a necessity for stewards and police. For people to be dragged out like at Colchester. To walk out of a stadium like Elland Road or The Den with people looking for trouble. It is ridiculous and I will not partake in it.
