Harman already talking Lib Lab pact. I'm all for it, especially if it means electoral reform and an end to the cosy Westminster incumbent culture. Too many safe seats means too many lazy politicians.

Its very hard to tell what the Libs will do though... Talk of Dave Moron going for a minority government as well...

At least one person in one of my wards asked "Why isn't Clegg's name on the paper?" :petesake:

Haha...and these people have the right to vote...

As for those queuing...more idiots! I hope they're all Tory

This can't be right... Libs losing three seats off the exit polls...

They'll have decent postal votes but, I still think people will have stepped up with full intention (and saying so) of voting yellow and then gone completely colourblind thinking that it is a wasted vote.

The "Others" in the last Parliament were as follows:

7 SNP

3 Plaid

9 DUP

3 SDLP

5 Sinn Fein

4 Independent

1 Respect

Total: 31.

It's tight as a gnat's chuff.

Do Sinn Fein count as they get MPs but they don't get a say for not swearing allegance to the British Queen?

Granted... BUT I didn't see them actually losing seats...

Jesus suffering ... I leave you for one day...!?!!? (ok, more relevant to about 7 pages ago more than now, but... )

(Well done Mr Tulsehill, you've made the first, nervous step - but forget the coalition talk, why don't you come and join us properly?

What will he want to give his say to a coalition?

He may not be standing- certainly isn't in his old constituency

I still don't think they'll lose seats. My guess 70 seats. It doesn't take much postal vote change for LD to overturn very small majorities.

I'd be very unhappy if things got further away from us after such a successful campaign.

NB. It's pronounced Horton le Spring, BBC.

It never gets going properly till after midnight.

Then we don't see the result being shaped until the wee hours, it will probably be even later due to turnout and counts taking longer.

That exit poll is well off, Lib dems have to have done much better, if they haven't then it is a massive shame.

The centre left need to re-group to make sure that the Eton tories do not this country over.

First choice (in dream land) : Lib Dem win

Second choice : Conservative minority supported by Lib Dem when it matters.

Third choice : Narrow Conservative majority.

Basically anything that doesn't involve Labour...

I want Liberals to have enough votes to make others look at their policies and adopt some of them.

I realise this won't happen now, but hopefully in time (tax, prison policy, trident, electoral reform). Even if it isn't all the way, and partially realised I would count my vote as counting. That is all I want. That and Hazel Blears' head on a plate.

So ok... What do people want

Con win

Labour win

Lab / Lib - win

Con / Lib - win

I want...

First choice : Labour

Second choice : Lab / Lib

I want a lab-lib coalition. There is good and bad in both parties agendas and between the 2 parties a sensible and representative government could form.

The economic storm in the US is a massive problem, the economic problem in the world is as big as a world war, we all need to work together to sort this out!

agree, a merge of policys between Libs and labour works for the country more than the Conservative manifesto
