I'm hoping for a halal only Burger King in expectation of version 2 of the greatest ever thread on this forum. All looks very good. Capacity is fine andit won't dwarf the rest of the ground. If we get something like I will stick to the main stand. I think you will find that that photo is the East stand behind the goal, not the main stand along the side The stand I'm talking about is the 1 your phot is taken from, the south stand Look at the 1st and 2nd photos on the link I posted that show the the stand from the back and then the front. The Broadway side is notorious for attracting the worst weather elements. Every ground has a west facing stand, except for us that is. And every ground has a problem. I was 10 rows back at Anfield and was getting wet first half. Perhaps in the 21st century we could expect the architects to put a roof big enough to keep normal rain off us. I am not quite clear what your point is. How do you stop driving rain coming through the big gap between the roof and the seats? And what has the capacity got to do with it? No matter what the capacity is, the first few rows are going to be in for a dowsing during windy wet weather, especially when facing west or south. The only real protection would be the in the latest mega million domes with the only gap being directly over the pitch and quite high because of the enormity of the terracing. Very much doubt Tesco would be interested in opening an express. I work for them and although there is major expansion in the express format at the minute, and there also isnt one in royton, most express sites are situated where passing trade is in abundance, or in high street locations. the boundary park site offers neither of these. when it talks about a small/mini supermarket, i would expect it to be more like a lidl/aldi or the new format asda stores from when they bought out netto. express is too small for that location. To be fair I think that the prevailing wind and the fact there will be quite a bit of cover from the boxes above mean most days it will protect. A wind from Siberaia might make it a bit dodgy though! There was quite a healthy percentage of the gate accepting getting wet in the recently deceased Broadway side. Where incidentally, Foster Grants were just as essential as rainwear. Great days indeed!
