BP1960
It's off season, so purely for fun, if an OWTB message board had existed during the Joe Royle era, what would the posts have looked like ? Here's one I have dreamed up for example; "JR has just signed someone called Irwin on a freebie from Leeds, this club has no ambition, within eight years time we will be in non league". BP1960
Who's this Palmer chap? Never heard of him! . Palmer's some striker from City reserves, won't score any for us, what we want is a proven goalscorer.

BP1960
This season 1983/4 has been awful, almost relegated from Division Two, the manager has got to go.
rudemedic
Rick Holden some long haired rocker wannabe. Never seen him beat a man and his crossing is 50/50 at best. Earl Barrett, there is a reason why City got rid, attitude or injury problem.

razza699
Why has Royle started playing Marshall out of position?
rudemedic
We've signed Paul Moulden he knocked them in for fun at City and scored 100 in a season once. Great signing.
HarryBosch
If Royal thinks we can rely on a bald United and Leeds reject to score us goals he can go for me.
singe
And of course, Why in gods name have the sacked Jimmy Frizzell, magnificent servant to the club and they treat him like this. Joe Royle has never managed anyone, we need someone with experience. I am not going to watch Oldham again until Joe Royle is sacked, who's with me? BP1960
Andy Ritchie, from United and Dirty Leeds, this is the last straw, I am ripping up my season ticket right now.Can you see. Hold on to your season ticket Singe, I think Ritchie is a great player and if JR can sign a few more like him I can see us getting promoted to the top flight and going to Wembley, you may laugh, but I am known for my astute vision. HarryBosch
Cup finals, promotions, free flowing attacking football is all well and good but, if they don't improve the matchday experience I won't be coming back next season.

Earl Barrett, there is a reason why City got rid, attitude or injury problem. I agree, Holden has no end product and Barrett has no pace. LaticsPete
Ripping up the grass to put down one of these plastic pitches is typical of this club. Why wren't the fans asked? Good teams will murder us on plastic, doubt if we'll win many at home ever again.
BP1960
What the :censored: does Scott McGarvey have to do to be given a proper run in the team? He's everything you want in centre forward, I'm sure he will score some vital goals for the club.
